  Very clean, very spacious with a balcony and small garden. Washing machine and dishwasher with detergent! Plenty of towels including beach towels. 15 minute walk to the harbour, slightly longer on the way back as it's up a hill however it's easy to get the bus! Antun was very helpful pointing everything out including the bus stops and local shop. We really loved this accommodation and hope to be back one day.   A modern, clean apartment with excellent facilities ideal for a holiday in Cavtat and beyond

  The Bacan Family apartment was modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was around a 15 minute walk into the centre of Cavtat, which is a beautiful town. The walk back includes a steep hill but if don’t fancy it the bus was £1.60 per person and runs every 30 mins. The bus stop is very close to the apartment so ideal for trips to Dubrovnik, there is a small supermarket about 5 mins walk and the nearest restaurant is a little further (both before the hill). The owner of the apartment Antun was very helpful and picked us up to take us to the transfer location at the of the trip. The air con in the rooms was great with separate units in each bedroom, it also had a washing machine and dishwasher which were very handy. There were lots of towels and even a large stock of toilet rolls. There was one minor thing to watch out for, store your food in the fridge or securely wrapped as otherwise you may have a few ants joining you for lunch, we just kept the surfaces clean after our first encounter and never had any further problems. The beds were very comfortable, did not watch the TV so can’t comment on that, as spent the days on trips or at the beach, and the evenings watching the amazing sunsets and trying the many different restaurants. I would recommend the Icecream shop at the bottom of the hill when walking into Cavat, amazing value, with a large selection of flavours to choose from. I would definitely recommend the Bacan Family apartments to anyone who plans to stay in the area, a very well equipped modern apartment not far from the centre of Cavtat and close to the bus stop for easy access to Dubrovnik.   Fabulous holiday, fabulous accommodation.

  I’m surprised this apartment hasn’t had more reviews.We had a wonderful stay in early October. I travel with my 2 teenage daughters, and we would normally stay in hotels, and do the ‘all inclusive’ thing, normally resulting in me coming back about a stone heavier 😂I loved Antuns place. It was very spacious, modern and clean. Tons of space for the 3 of us, and room for the kids to go and chill on their own if they needed to.There are 2 spacious bedrooms, comfortable large double beds, which I think can come apart and make 2 singles, an open plan living/dining area, and a small kitchen. There is a corner balcony with table and chairs, and a paved outside patio area with outside shower and loungers. We didn’t use this area as we were out most of the day.The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the centre, it’s on the hill on the main road out of Cavtat, and as others have said, you could get a bus back up the hill, or an Uber, but we didn’t feel the need to do that once. I loved getting up early in the morning, walking into Cavtat for fresh bread for our picnic, and other bits from the supermarket (there are 3, closest one a 5 minute walk away max), then taking a walk round the peninsula, stopping for a coffee, before heading back up the make the kids breakfast.We were trying to do this holiday on a budget (it was very inexpensive through loveholidays) and cooked in a couple of nights, which was great, the apartment had all the facilities we needed.Antun has more serviced apartments just down the road, and is always available if you need anything.As for Cavtat.. it is just stunning. This was our 6/7th time in Croatia, and it never fails to amaze me.We ended our week with the Elaphite Islands boat trip, which was stunning.We will 100% be back.   Great base for a relaxing Cavtat break

  Excellent value for money, with excellent facilities and extremely keen. Although this property is about one mile up the road from Cavtat centre (slightly shorter on foot) we found it an excellent base for our familiy trip to Cavtat. Typically we walked into Cavtat (which takes no more than about 15 mins) and then got the No. 10 bus back (2 stops) or an Uber (45 kn). Antun was an excellent host and even allowed us to check in at 11am as the apartment was ready. Cavtat is a wonderful place for a relaxing family break too.
