This boutique hotel is situated in the very heart of Old Havana’s historical centre, within a short distance of Arms Square where the village of San Cristóbal was founded. The Terminal de Ferrocarriles de la Habana (railway station) is around 2 km away and it is approximately 5 km to El Templete whilst Viazul bus station is some 8 km from the hotel. The Castillo de la real Fuerza is 10 km away and it is about 15 km further to the Playas del Este where guests may kick back and relax.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1867. 9 junior suites, suites and 27 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (for a fee) and a car park (for a fee).     Oh my God, what a historic masterpiece to stay in a little rundown like all good ancient buildings. We have a good luck to meet the family that used to own this hotel as their family home. If you want romance tradition, and the real Havana experience I could not recommend a better place to go. I’ve been going there for 20 years. I recommend getting a room with a view of the square and a little balcony that you can go out on if you’re a cigar smoker. Bravo for keeping this wonderful historic landmark going and I will be back time and time again. Did I mention they have a great breakfast and make great coffee and the staff is very cooperative and very wonderful. Ismaly was particularly helpful.

    This was a solo trip to explore the culture with the people of Cuba. My stay at the hotel was amazing! The staff were more than accommodating. The room was exceptional. The ability to walk around the area was priceless. I would definitely recommend.

    Good Localization and room for the plus categoria …but only this. NO hot water for shower, NO elevator and service for luggage. Super Bad breakfast.Never recommend ! Bad experience for vacation … you can find other good options with a good or the same price. We are saddened that we didn't provide you with a better stay during your stay at the hotel.It's true that on that occasion we had problems with the hot water in the shower. This problem was resolved promptly. Breakfast also improved greatly. This year, guests who stayed at the hotel are still amazed by the service and comfort of the establishment. But believe me, your opinion about what happened was sad for us because we couldn't make you feel the way you deserve, but at the same time, it made us improve in many details, for example, the elevator was the first to be fixed. Thank you for the review; it was very constructive for us. We assure you that if you wish to return, despite your experience in 2024, your impression will change greatly.

    Most Beautiful Historic Hotel in the Heart of Old Havana!

    We traveled to Havana in August, myself and my daughter, after I had stayed here 10 years ago, and we were delighted to arrive again at this marvelous hotel! Everything about it is magical aura, super comfortable beds, cool ac and Wi-fi and glamorous, historical design. Special thanks to the Breakfast staff Daniela, the maids Iris and Melany, and the very kind and helpful night security guard who all worked so hard to make our stay perfect. Everything about our stay was amazing: the beautiful magical streets, delicious restaurants, the hospitable and generous people we met, the compelling history of this fascinating country. VISIT HAVANA AND STAY HERE YOU WILL LOVE IT!
