  Used booking.com to book a room to stay at majestic and had to pay directly while making the booking. Once arrived at Majestic to check in the person at the counter told me I have to pay for the room because it has not been paid yet. I told her I already paid and even proceed to show her the invoice I received from booking.com and even proof that it has already been credited on my card. She instisted that I still have to pay because she can not find my payment in their system. It was already late in the evening and I couldnot find somewhere else to stay at that time so I had no other choice to pay at the check-in counter so I can have a room to stay in for the night. She told me that later on when they can see in their system that I already paid I can come by and fill in a form to get a refund for paying twice. I did exactly that and the supervisor told me she will approve the refund immediately. One week went by and I still did not get my money back so I went back again (twice!!) before I could find somebody to give me a update on my refund. Finally they got a hold of the finance department and I get to hear that the finance department will now start refund process, one week after the supervisor told me that she will approve the refund immediately, so the whole week went by without finance department doing something about my refund. I still to this day have not received my money back.The communication and the service is horrible. I will never stay here again. And the roomwas not even all that. The room had a funny smell I had to complain at the front desk for them to go check it out. After that the smell was taken care off. It’s like they did not inspect the room before giving it to me. The toilet was also not the cleanest.Overall a super bad experience at this accomodation.

  Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Staff

  We had a wonderful stay at Majestic City Suites Hotel in February 2026 (during Carnaval) and can highly recommend it. The staff was absolutely amazing — incredibly friendly, patient, supportive, and always ready with a great sense of humor. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and they also gave us excellent advice on what to do and see in the area.The suites were very clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchen and fridge, which made our stay even more convenient and comfortable.The location is also perfect — everything is within walking distance, making it very easy to explore the area.Thank you Zainab, Sontje and Nuhara for such a fantastic experience. We had a wonderful time and would gladly stay here again!

  Unsafe, beware!

  Solo and female travelers beware! The location was great for exploring Willemstad, but overall I would not stay here again.The rooms felt dingy, and our shower still had someone else’s hair in it when we checked in, which immediately made the place feel unclean.Also, do not waste your money on the hotel parking. They charge $10/night, but there is plenty of free parking only a 3–5 minute walk away.The biggest issue by far is security. The hotel is directly connected to a public parking garage, and people can walk straight from the street to the elevators with essentially no barrier. There are security doors between the hotel hallways and common areas on every floor, but during our stay they were cracked open and completely inactive. That means literally anyone can come upstairs and walk directly to guest room doors.This made us feel extremely unsafe, especially after a man tried to follow us back toward our room one night. We did bring this up to the hotel staff and they did not care and just said “ok”. This is not acceptable hotel security and I would absolutely not recommend this property for solo female travelers or anyone concerned about safety.

  What an absolutely wonderful place!First, I have to say thank you to the entire staff! Everyone at the front desk is kind, friendly and helpful. Even in short conversations they made me feel completely at home. I wish I was staying longer so I could take everyone out for a drink! The room was perfect! Clean, comfortable, good internet, good coffee machine, good shower... And, the cleaning is also fantastic. Each person I met felt like a friend!I stayed here last year and remembered having a wonderful experience, so I was super happy to be able to stay again, and it exceeded my expectations.   Amazing Value in Downtown Curacao!

  I had a wonderful stay at Majestic City Suites in Curaçao! The location is perfect — walking distance to everything in downtown Willemstad, which made exploring so easy. Parking was only $10 a day with in-and-out access, which is honestly a steal for this area.The rooms were clean, affordable, and the AC was strong (a MUST in Curaçao!). The entire staff was pleasant and welcoming, but I especially want to highlight Zainab — she was incredibly kind and offered great recommendations that made my trip even better.Overall, such a convenient, budget-friendly, and comfortable stay.
