We had a good stay ...

    rating07 Jan 2026

We stayed a night here when we were in Brno. After our Group dinner at the Old Town the coach took 30 mins to reach the Hotel which is near. Hotel is quite big, sprawling lobby and check-in was easy.We stayed at 3F and transit up is reasonable with 2 lifts. Spacious room easy for our large luggage packing. Amenities are good and it comes with a safe. 2 soft large pillows seems not necessary & there’s no bedroom sleepers, quite surprising. However we noted the TV has some interesting (English) channels compared to the few earlier Hotels .Just that there was a private event that night that lasted long, we still can hear some din past 8pm..The morning bf was at 1F, good, widespread and really encompassing. We all had a heart meal before checking out on our way to Prague.

    Miserable Staff and No Bar!!!

    rating20 Jul 2025

Good…..The hotel is clean and tidy and well presented. Rooms are dated but well equipped. Reception staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very good but serviced by miserable, unhelpful staff. Bad…..4 star hotel with no bar. Well. There is a bar but it only opens on Thursday to Saturday. So the alternative is getting a drink from the restaurant, which shuts at 10! Other than the reception staff, the rest of them are like a throwback from the communist era. Miserable, sour faced and abrupt and in fact, some of them are actually very rude There’s a hot tub advertised but you have to book it and pay for it. Can’t see how this is a four star hotel.

    Nice stay!

    rating07 Jul 2025

Had a two night stay here with my husband and 6 year old. Check in was smooth and polite, lady spoke good English. We didn’t pay for breakfast as we didn’t think it was that reasonable so can’t comment on that. Room was fairly spacious and traditional but no fridge which was disappointing. Beds comfortable but narrow. The shower leaked into bathroom which bc was not great. The room was clean with plenty of storage and a safe. There was noise from nest by night club so be weary of this. Hotel restaurant was quiet and pleasant with food being good quality snd reasonable, the server was extremely polite with great English. Hotel is located 1.5 miles from centre and there isn’t anything around it.Gym ok, and play room for kids. Lobby bar wasn’t open which would have been ideal as we could have sat and watched our daughter play. I’d stay here again, absolutely fine for price!

    Great

The room was large and had two double (maybe queen?) beds. The buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful with many choices. Modern amenities.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel!

    rating24 Aug 2024

Where to start? The checking in was a total mess: the female employee seemed not to know what she was doing, despite having our reservation in the system (Booking).Double beds are frankly narrow and the covets too (180/150 for a double bed?!)Bedrooms are not equipped with robe nor bedroom sleepers. Also there’s no fridge. Watch out when you’re going to take a shower, the anti-slippery is minimum and doesn’t cover the length of the bath. Double bedrooms have a sofa: very dusty, full of stains and with fresh snot in one of the arms. Disgusting, to say the leastCleaning the room, in this hotel, equals changing the towels, taking away the trash and spray, very superficially, the bathroom (washbasin and toilet). All cleaners seem not to know how to make beds: everything is loose pillows are left in whatever direction they “land”, so we preferred to make our own beds. Sometimes we had to call the reception to have our bedrooms (no, the doors had no “Do not disturb” sign)Breakfast. Despite the good variety of food, cereals, fruits, the juices are not fresh. Also, it’s noticeable that there are cakes, fruits and cheeses that are not fresh (perhaps 1,2,3 days old?). Also, two female employees who need some self-control to avoid throwing cutlery into the drawers with huge noise was noted. Once, one of those employees dropped a spoon and, with her foot, she kicked the spoon against the cupboard. Also, why make so much noise pilling up the glasses?Think twice before ordering a double expresso: two cost us €10, which is an abuse for such low quality. We preferred to go to a walking-distance petrol station for coffees which are much cheaper and of better quality.Regarding the restaurant: we went there twice for dining. For the second time, there was no one in the room. I went to the door of the kitchen to call someone. Then a young female employee came from the esplanade, yelling at us in Czech! My daughter, a minor, witnessed it all. Such unprofessionalism is out of order! We left the restaurant immediately and headed directly to the reception to file a complaint.Regarding the main lobby area, beware of the sofas: at least two have very compromising stains on them (and no one seems interested in cleaning them). The hotel claims to look after sustainability but has the wrong concept of it:Sustainability does not mean: limiting the AC temperature in the bedrooms; not fully cleaning the bedrooms; changing the towels only; not having bedrooms equipped with robes and bed slippers; not having a fridge, etc. This is cutting down the hotel costs! It is very different from sustainability. This is not a 4-star hotel!
