  Majestic Colonial - Adults Only side

  Sorry for the late review. Maybe it will help with planning for when Majestic Colonial re-opens after renovations (couldn't find the completion date). Travelled in November, right after hurricane season ends.The need for renovations was starting to show - in the pools and our bathroom - but otherwise a fantastic resort, with helpful and friendly staff. Our concierge Marcelo was attentive and great at making recommendations for meals or activities. The beach restaurant was the highlight - breakfast and lunch buffets served, then a la carte for supper. The main buffet was better for selection, but the seafood and steak options were great at the beach restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. Though not a lot of more casual food options.The upgrade to the Adults-only side and concierge service was definitely worth the cost. Pluses included a stocked room fridge and a couple of hard liquor bottles in the room. Almost all the bars had top shelf liquor - it wasn't hard to find if the pool bars didn't have what you wanted. We would probably upgrade to Majestic Elegance or Mirage, mainly for the increase in restaurant options.   Our favorite resort

  This was our second visit to Colonial and it is hands down our favorite resort. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. Food is decent and always available. Service is always top notch! We had Alex as our butler for our stay and she was INCREDIBLE!! I really hope she will be back when they reopen from renovations. She went above and beyond for us and made sure to check in with us every single day and was super responsive to messages. Alex made our stay even more enjoyable. Alejandro was also a rockstar! He provided us with great service and really went out of his way to make our dining experience special. We will be back next year and hope that both of them will also be there!   Another amazing vacation at The Majestic elegance, The Club.

  We just came back from our 5th time at The Majestic Elegance, The Club in Punta Cana and we are already planning our next trip there. Our butler Juan M and Osvaldy took good care of us for the week. The staff our like are second family. Our Housekeeper was wonderful, our room was always clean and tidy. The room bar guy always made sure we were well stocked water, pop and beer and munchies. The pools were always clean, the pools guys, Joel and Samuel were always busy keeping things tidy, always had towels and making sure quests are happy. Our beach bar staff were amazing, Santa, Maxima, Angelina, Adelio, Martha, Maitra. Never had to wait to long for a drink.The meals at the Resturants were very good, no complaints. We do want to give a special Thank you to the following people who took good care of us. Flavors: Oscar, Anthony, Pedro,Darlene, Jorlin,Jose. Steakhouse: Franklin P, Anthony, Breilin, Darleni. Although we did not get everyone's name, a big Thank you also for the great staff in The Limited, 9 Doors and II Bottaccio. Our Romantic Dinner under the stone gazebo was perfect. Our Waiter, Andres, for the dinner, was exceptional and the meal was great. The Staff working the lower lobby bar were exceptional, never waited long for a yummy drink. They are always so happy and accommodating to everyone.Also, try the Spa, we had a 55 min relax massage and it was like heaven. It is really worth going.All in all, another perfect, relaxing vacation. See you all soon again.   Our family experience could not have been better. The check in had a few hiccups but after that it was absolute perfection. From the food, entertainment, pools, beach, rooms, etc. They were all amazing. But what made it over the top, by far was the staff. There was not one person that didn't make you feel like you were part of the Majestic family. From day 1 to day 7. From our amazing butler Melvin to the Club CCC(Maxima,, Angelina, Santa) Joel(Texasion) The bartenders in the main lobby the day we left(Rosa, Caroline). Ramone, the man that made my omelet every morning. But one of the most memorable people, was the man that ran the pasta bar in the Flavors buffet. He made the most amazing pasta dishes. And they were always(Yummy,Yummy). He had the most amazing and genuine smiles. I wish I had gotten his name because he deserves major recognition. I could go on and on. I can't wait to go back.   Perfect vacation with our young adult children and couple friends

  Celebrated our 30th wedding Anniversary with our adult children and best friends. Majestic Colonial was recommended by friends who were repeat customers. It lived up to our expectations and more. Plenty to do and a variety of activities. The entire staff work tirelessly to meet your needs and if they do they want to know and do better. Our club bartender July was our favorite and our butler Marcello learned everything about us throughout the week and could anticipate our needs. The beach is the cleanest section in Punta Cana and the staff is cleaning it just before sunrise. The activities staff was fantastic and they more from one part of the resort to another. Anderson was so entertaining. Plenty of bars and the bartenders were fantastic. Lobby bar with piano was on of our nightly stops. Plenty of food options from room service to fancy dinners. I would rate food 8/10 not exceptional but we are not foodies. We are more about activities, beach and pool. Our adult children loved it. Recommend paying the upgrade for club side and at least on pool access in your group. I can’t say enough about the entire team - the best staff at an all inclusive we have ever been to. Also, always felt extremely safe. If incredible an beach, lively environment, foam parties, great drinks, dancing, music, massive pools and gorgeous grounds are your vibes this is your resort. Also very excited to see updates which are coming to the rooms and grounds. Always kept very clean but wear and tear was evident.
