    This hotel is right downtown Cairo. If you are looking for cheap, lousy food and not very clean…this is the hotel for you. Our room had 3 twin size beds but the one bed was broken, the maintenance did come and fix the slats under the mattress but still not comfortable. The food upstairs for the breakfast was mostly inedible. The elevator is something from the early 20th century. The reception area is small cramped and unclean. The INTERNET is TERRIBLE. Needless to say after 2 nights booked another hotel which is lovely.

    + clean with air conditioning and elevator. TV. very friendly employees. Good bed. Good breakfast made to order on a beautiful terrace on the 11th floor. Democratic prices. Free puck-up aéroport. - we had directly booked 2 communication rooms for 13 days. Our first day on arrival taken to sister hotel and with 3 people in 1 too small room with additional bed. Crawl into bed in the back!! No sorry but would get suite upgrade in amin hotel day after. It consisted of a large entrance hall with wardrobe and loose unusable save in it. A fridge. 1 room with 2 single beds. 1 room with a double bed placed almost against the wall and difficult to access. 2 chairs with mini coffee table. The bathroom with shower and toilet placed incorrectly so that you had to put your feet in the shower tray. - fly window door to balcony with large holes through which the flies entered. - very bad internet - very noisy. Cleaning not daily. Well on demand. Appointment for paid (25$) ride to Aéroport with large hotel shuttle not fulfilled. A taxi had been ordered ... 6 luggage had to be put on the roof. We disagree and came 2nd taxi. A lot of disagreement with the driver and still 3 suitcases on the roof. Lpg tank in trunk Having to stop on the way after signals from other cars. The 3rd suitcase was sliding.!! Very sad!

    Give this hotel a pass. Always under construction or repair. Drilling goes on till late hours of the evening. Booked and paid for 3 nights , I left after 1 night. Boutique hotel ambience not worth the experience or ideal city center location.

    Clean, very well located, quiet and nice roof top terrace for breakfast. For $25/night it is a very good value. It is obviously a budget hotel so do not expected anything fancy, all is basic but clean and functional.Location is great, next door to Al Horreya cafe, and plenty of restaurants around. A good choice for any budget traveler.

    This is probably like a two star hotel at best. Not that great. Very old building. Breakfast is a joke. Some cut up cucumbers and hard boiled eggs. Initially they gave is the wrong rooms. We booked family suites and got something different then they claimed that's all they had. Apparently the other family suite was given to someone else so they couldnt fix this problem. Shower is horrible. Hot water for only like one person at best. The bathroom gets flooded after each shower! I mean like then entire floor has 2" of water. Bathroom door has to be slammed shut everytime to get the lock to work.Elevator is small and looks like it was build in the 1800s and seems dangerous.Cold draft from all windows.Internet is a joke, I think dial-up from the 90s faster. Only thing this place has going for it is the manager Ahmed. He is awesome at setting up and coordinating anything you need. All trips, tours etc he will make it happen. And his prices are reasonable.Try and get a tour guide by the name of Mustafa. His english is excellent and he's really good.Ahmed also arranged pickup and drop off from airport.I am sure if you stayed at a nicer hotel you'd easily pay double/triple for all the tour/transportation costs.If I could get this guys-Ahmed's services without staying at his hotel that would be money.
