Location

Located on Pyramids Road on Abu El Hool Street, the hotel is the best place to enjoy views of the Pyramids and is within easy reach of the city centre. Cairo International Airport is some 45 km from the establishment.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 100 rooms located in a 4-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee) and a laundry service.

Rooms

    In short, receptionists are not professionals at all, I.e. must show reservation number and surname does not work, no good advice given, felt we were judged by our appearance.Noisy and inoperative aircon combined with traffic noise piercing through the windows (single glazed). TV does not work, there is no tea/coffee in the room. Toilet bathroom is extremely bad as you cannot shower (too small pane). Room card/key needs activating every time you go out and at times, the receptionist did wrong activation so did not open the door.Breakfast served in packed cases as there is no buffet system. All liquids (hot/cold) served in paper cups. There is no bar facilities & sauna only opens at 2pm.Overall, this hotel does not deserve ratings of any stars. Based on the facilities and non- professional staff, I truly believe this hotel is merely 1*. I shall never ever return to this hotel and will not suggest anybody to use this hotel.Only good points are, it’s very near from Pyramids and hot water works instantly.

    Great view and clean, that's about it.I do not know how they rate hotels in Egypt but it would get one star in USA.Every time I came back to the room the card key would not work and had to go to the reception to get it reset. I run out of water in the middle of a shower, after two requests and a 30 minute wait I finally got barely warm water.The breakfast had poor selection and quality.Would not recommend.

    In Giza we stayed at Tiba Hotel. Our room was booked by the group guide on behalf of the travel agency with whom we traveled to Egypt. The hotel looks great on the outside, as does the reception area. The room as well. In fact, I would say it's a small apartment because, besides the bedroom, there is another room that would take the place of a living room. Spacious bathroom. The furniture looks almost new. In the bathroom we found that we had a problem with the toilet: the basin was not supplied with water, practically could not flush the toilet. I went down to the front desk to complain about the situation. Luckily our guide was there. He talked to the front desk staff and they changed our room immediately. It's on the same floor, it has the same position, meaning from the window we can see the pyramids, inside it's structured the same. Luckily, we didn't unpack too much of our luggage. Breakfast was OK, we found what to put on the plate so as not to leave hungry.

    We checked in early,the receiptionist ( ms yasmeen ) was very co-operative and allowed us so. The rooms are ok not upto a 4* standard what they show. The housekeeping is good.The view outside is nice,but the roadside noise will sometimes annoy you.The receiptionist and the bell boy ( forgot his name ) helped us plan our next journey to luxor.Breakfast is ok.

    This hotel has the best view ever with a friendly and nice staff . Food is very good. Room service was excellent. Had a wonderful experience there . Its literally 5 minutes away from the pyramids and 5 minutes away from the new great egyptian museum.
