This hotel is situated in a peaceful location in Heliopolis, a suburb in the north east of Cairo. The hotel has wonderful views over the historic Baron Empain Palace. The centre of Cairo can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. The international airport and Cairo's conference centre are both about a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Numerous shopping facilities and entertainment venues can be reached in only 5 min.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2023. 186 rooms and 14 suites are located on 11 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Half board is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch is served as a set menu, and guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu for dinner. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and halal food can be prepared on request. For an extra fee, alcoholic beverages are available.

From our arrival the friendly staff were lovely. Youramy at the front desk assisted us on arrival and nothing was a problem. The various service staff at the hotel cafe were very considerate and obliging. The breakfast options were plentiful and the chef always happy to cook up anything needed. We were met by Yougani on our second morning who let us know if we needed anything she would assist us. The porters were helpful when we were looking for ways to travel. Our housekeeper Mona Adel was always available when needed with a friendly smile. All in all our stay was very enjoyable and we enjoyed the majority of the amenities on site. Amr at the pool side restaurant was attentive and the food amazing. We would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit Cairo. Our stay at the Baron Hotel in Kairo was very pleasant. All of the staff, at the reception, the restaurant and the roomservice, was really welcoming and friendly. The room was always clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast had amazing service and had a lot of food to choose from.
