SLOW SERVICE, POOR QUALITY FOOD

Ate here after an 11 hour train journey from Luxor, very tired and hungry. Woman in foyer welcomed us, assuring they were not only still open, but had 'everything we could wish for' and that is was amazing! Indeed the view was. Our polite server took our order for beers, then disappeared. We checked several times over the balcony to see where he was. Due to the view being so incredible, and being excited at finally being in Giza, we overlooked the 40minute wait. Then we ordered - two of us wanting pizza. 'We have no pizza' said our server. THEN, WHY DID YOU NOT THINK TO MENTION THIS WHEN GIVING US, ONE, YES ONE, MENU???. So back to re-deciding what to have....waiting another 15 minutes before server returned. Put in our orders, and another beer each. Food arrived 90minutes after us arriving - cold! One dish was wrong. By the time he rectified it, my family had finished their meals. I'd picked at some of husbands food and at midnight, was now past hungry. I refused the limp greasy fries that finally arrived. Server was not happy. Neither were we. Son's mixed grill was a burnt mess of overcooked chewy meat. Bill of 3,400 came - drinks had to be paid for in cash. Wanted to pay partly by card. Server seemed reluctant for this. Followed us down to reception. The usual entourage of owners/staff were in the foyer. 'Everything good?' the owner, we learned later, enquired. Being as we'd been asked, I said, well, no actually. The owner shot up and rather forcibly demanded I explain. I told him about the lengthy wait, the cold food, the wrong dish, his staff more interested in their phones. He then went on to lambast his employee/son? to which I suggested he do this away from guests, but he seemed hell bent on shaming this lad whom I now felt sorry for - he had been polite, just lazy & slow. The poor food was surely the responsibility of the kitchen staff. So now we had an embarrassed humiliated young server, an array of onlookers of staff and a family mortified at the discomfort of this. The owner thanked me but once again pushed me to stress directly to the server, I said, this was his job as owner/manager to address. He took 400 E pounds off our £50 - a fortune by Egyptian standards bill.

I come from the Ohio state in the USA. Great hotel great price. Clean rooms!! Staff speaks English very well! They really make you feel like home. Plus it’s a walk to the pyramid’s and the roof top is THE BEST VIEW IN GIZA. They will help you book activities at the hotel without paying tourist prices. All only else I can’t GREAT HOTEL. 24hr Service. Highly recommended! real heart of the world… Im from Venezuela and I visited Egypt alone! And I can say that always I felt safe and happy! the Hotel is just Front the Giza Piramids.. only 5 minutes far away walking from the Piramids.. also the have Carrets, Horses, camel… They pick up to me from the airport.. they sent to me sweets desserts every day! I’m really happy with the wonderfully experience! I’m a Lady traveling alone to this spectacular country! They make me feel like home… or really better than my home! The hotel is very clean! The rooms are spacious… big rooms with big bed and good mattress for resting… I spent 10 wonderful days in this hotel and i I also chose spent 3 more days in the Suite Piramids view…and OMG the view is wonderful… the touristic package is very nice and good prices! And the food is amazing… They also offered me free rides to temples and markets of interest! I am in love with the Egyptian culture for this hotel… The staff is great and the owner is always present! Really the warmth of home is great... I felt nostalgic when I left the hotel... I want to return soon! I love you family Best View Piramids Hotel.. Highly recommend Best View Pyramid Hotel

I am a solo traveller from UK and I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights at Best View Pyramids Hotel. I had a very good time and enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and I had a comfortable sleep. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I had arrived at the hotel around 2am and was met by a friendly receptionist and was checked in immediately. The hotel roof top is quite spectacular as it is facing the pyramids and I really enjoyed spending my time there. You can also book activities at the reception for a reasonable price. I would come back again and would highly recommend as this is an incredible location ever. I felt home away from home. Worst hotel ever

AVOID !AVOID !AVOID WORST HOTEL EVERThis was the worst hotel experience I've ever had.The hotel had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the bathroom didn't drain properly. There were also cockroaches in the bathroom, which made the situation even worse.I felt very uncomfortable with the owner, who tried to pressure me into writing a 5-star review in front of him. I told him I would do it later, but the whole situation felt intimidating and inappropriate.Honestly, I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible it was a horrible experience.The only positive aspects were the rooftop staff and the cleaners, who were kind.I strongly advise others to avoid booking this place.It feels like a scam.He just have high rate because he intimidates people and make them write the review next to him !Someone even tried to open my door with a key ! Unfortunately he intimidated me and make me delete in front of him the video I did about disgusting drainage of the bathroom problems .
