  Very Cooperative staff specially manager Mr.Mohamed Mounir. ( although they run a travel agency also but he never pushed me into buying his packages ).and assured that my stay was comfortable.Hotel is on 6th and 7th floor ( lift goes till 6th floor only ).Rooms were clean,spacious with fridge ,ac and TV.rooms were exactly same as shown in their website.Tea kettle was available on request.Breakfast was limited and ok.WiFi was OK. Some 20 kms from airport and 5 minutes walk from metro station.We get what we pay...

  the place is quite simplebut what make it special for was the location...its serounded with coffeeshops restaurants and etcpeople who are working there are super friendly.although i dont remember names but the house keeper is nice.helpfull and smilingthe girl at the reception at day time is happy to helpthe man at late night sheft is also happy to recomend you places to eat and giving me good information

  Great hotel for short-term stays

  This hotel is a Gem in Cairo. Its location is what makes it so perfect. It's located right next to the metro station, budget restaurants (including kushari), cafes, shops, buses, and a 20 minutes walk to Tahrir square. It's in the middle of a bustling city, so noise is extreme even at 6 am in the morning.Pros:- Location + + + + +- Affordability + + + + +- Housekeeping on demand- The amazing owner, Dr. Ahmad. He takes care of everything in case of any complaint, and is a great soul. I loved seeing him everyday on the terrace, and enjoyed talking with him.Cons:- Not very clean- Room always had issues (AC making noise, equipment broken/not working, rats running around, ect.)- No seating on the balcony- Water from shower gets everywhere in the bathroom, and there's no place to hang towels in the bathroom. You can slip on your way out, the bathroom gets all dirty/wet, and it gets cold if the AC is on- Terrible & expensive laundry service (my clothes came out stained)- Lots of street noise, but that's Cairo! (if you're a light sleeper, or need a calm room, you might need to look at someplace a bit less central).I highly recommend this lovely hotel for short-term stays. For long term stays, I recommend paying a little bit more in exchange for less room problems.

  I stayed at New Palace from 6th to 27th of July. The hotel is located at the excellent position. 2 minutes to metro, 10-15 to Tahrir square. When you enter the hotel you will be met by a friendly staff working 24/7 ready to cope with any your problem, request or question from something wrong in the room to advice what places to visit or how to prolong your visa. The rooms are larger than in most hotels of this category, very clean, everything is functioning properly. And what’s more important every evening at the balcony you can meet Dr. Ahmed, the owner. Believe, he is monitoring everything, tackling every problem and situation, making the atmosphere warm. I very appreciate the company of Dr. Ahmed, talks with him...As for drawbacks there is nothing, but be ready that you will be living in the downtown, and furniture, for example, is not super modern, but you will have everything for comfortable life. For money I paid I received more than awaited. If I were be able I would give 10/5.Next my trip to Cairo I will stay here again.   Best staff ever !

  I really think the best about this place is the quality of the staff, literaly every person working in the place is awesome. I cant explain how much they help me, specialy Ali, in the reception, who even gave me an adaptor to my telephone!! So kind and charming! Im a solo female traveler and Im super gratefull for how easy they made my stay in Cairo. The hotel itself needs a litle refreshing,but everything is clean, the rooms are very big and the caffe upstairs is very nice to feel above the caos of the city. The internet is fast and you can get your breakfast include. Looking at the relation price quality, this is exactcly what I paid for as a backpacker! And if I count the lovely people there, is actually more! Feel home in Cairo :)Más
