    Very disappointing dining experience at Novotel October. - business stay

    I was initially undecided whether to pay for the hotel dinner buffet or dine at a restaurant outside the hotel. Unfortunately, I made the wrong decision by choosing the buffet.The meat was tough, dry, and difficult to chew, and the pasta was simply terrible. What felt especially strange was that no coffee or other drinks were included, despite it being an open buffet. Breakfast was also disappointing, with toast that tasted stale rather than fresh.Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, the value for money was poor. Unfortunately, I would not choose to dine here again.

    We stayed at this property for more than a month and had originally planned to extend our stay for at least another three months. Unfortunately, due to the reasons outlined below, we decided to leave earlier than planned.During our stay, we were accompanied by our young child, and in fairness, I would like to acknowledge that the property itself is beautifully landscaped, and both the front office and housekeeping teams were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful.However, the main issue with this property lies in its food and beverage operations.The food and beverage team would benefit from better training in guest service and hospitality. Guests should feel genuinely welcomed and valued, but unfortunately, our experience often felt the opposite.The quality of the food was also far below expectations. Throughout our entire month-long stay, not a single item on the breakfast menu was changed. Every day it was the same selection, the same poor quality, and the same unwelcoming atmosphere from the staff.There were several disappointing situations involving the food and beverage team during our stay. I raised these concerns directly with management on multiple occasions, yet no meaningful or professional action was taken, not even a simple gesture of apology or acknowledgment.What was even more disappointing was that after we raised our concerns, it felt as though certain members of the food and beverage team became upset by the feedback, and their attitude toward us noticeably worsened.I do not usually write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience because the management showed very little concern regarding our frustration and disappointment.Sadly, based on this experience, we will not be returning to this property.
