    We recently had the pleasure of hosting an event at the Safir Hotel dokki , and I must say the entire experience exceeded all expectationsI want to thank all the staff who provided an amazing service, Captain Ahmed and Captain Isaac and the waiter's Adel Rahman & Osama, for there attention to details,speed and keep us comfortable , and also the restaurant,l is was an amazing experience the food was very good.And also Ms. Zainab Mustafa from sales and events team for her efforts for the day .     Mixed. Tired and old hotel but service is good

    PositivesThe staff are very attentive but to be honest you get that everywhere in Egypt hotels. Negatives Breakfast is poor. For tea and coffee you often end up following the person around with the tea / coffee cart trying to get a drink. They need to just put a coffee machine in and a tea station and let people get it themselves.The pool food choice is very limited. You can’t even get a portion of fries. The hotel needs some work. The frost time we stayed our patio/balcony door didn’t lock. This wasn’t such a huge problem as we were a few floors up. But when we went out for dinner and came back we realised you don’t need a key to get in our room. You just push the door !! We asked to be moved to another room and the upgraded us to a nicer room which was good.Second time we stayed a few days later, I plugged the kettle in to make tea and there was a flash and bang an all the electrics went. It took 3 phone calls before an engineer came to fix the fuse and then they replaced the kettle. Housekeeping are very nice and good but it’s little things like just 1 mug of coffee in the room not 2.Also one of the worst things in all 3 rooms we slept in and also our friends said the same in their room. The pillows are TERRIBLE. Too thick, hard and the ruin your sleep. We had neck aches 2 days running and then had to sleep without pillows after that. I wouldn’t stay again.     Comfortable stay at Safir

    I stayed in The Safir hotel from tge 30th April 26c to 5th May, is in Dokki Cairo, best its 3.5☆ wonderful staff, all very helpful, at tge check-in Mr. Serife the manager gave me a nice room, very spacious, the rooms are dated but its OK. Not much choices for breakfast but then you can only eat so much. Special word for Hasan (Customer Relations) what a kind respectful person, did so much to help & advise me because of my issues with the local bank. These are the people we all wish we would encounter at all the hotels My room cleaning lady FATIMA, on the 10th floor room 1015 was not only a good cleaner but wonderful person, always smiling & greeting me with islamic salam, but she reminds me of my mother, she only cleaned, she also tidied up & put everything in Order, beautiful person. mashallah, overall a good hotel Sherif Yousry, Guest Services / Front Office at Safir Hotel Cairo, responded to this review Thank you for your review and for choosing our hotel, your feedback is extremely valuable for us as we strive to improve with every stay, we are looking forward to having you again as a guest in our hotel.
