Location

This hotel is located at the southern point of the wonderful island of El Gezira in the heart of Cairo. The opera house and the Egyptian Museum are only a few minutes away and there are plenty of shopping areas as well as government buildings to be found close to the elegant city hotel. 433 rooms are located on 27 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Really good location to enjoy a nice view of Cairo and Pyramids. You feel in peace despite being in the middle of busy Cairo. We also enjoyed a really good time at The Club (16th level) with a really personnalised and warm welcome, with a professional team. Ms Doaa is really a nice host, always helpful and smiling. And the food is tasty with diverse options! We loved it

    My stay at Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the Nile and easy access to many of Cairo’s main attractions.The room was elegant, spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the panoramic Nile view each morning was truly unforgettable.What made the experience even more special was the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request exceeded all expectations.The dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food and beautiful settings overlooking the river.
