Location

The hotel is situated right on the Red Sea Coast, in Hurghada. It is the perfect place to stay for lovers of water sports, sun, sea and san, relaxation and, of course, diving. There are impressive coral reefs and fantastic sea life. With its view of the clear turquoise water of the Red Sea and surrounded by endless desert the city is a Mecca for tourists from all over the world.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2022. Guests have a choice of 296 rooms and a suite located in a 2-storey main building and 5 auxiliary buildings. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Other services include medical assistance, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. A business centre with projector, a flip chart and pens and photocopier is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning (no extra charge) and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Children's beds can be provided at no extra charge upon request. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A telephone, satellite television and a plug adapter provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests can also make use of the cleaning service on departure. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The resort has 45 non-smoking rooms and 251 smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex (no extra charge) includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the terrace, where guests can enjoy a quick break or relax for hours. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, bocce, beach volleyball and volleyball. Guests can partake in various water sports, including snorkelling and water aerobics. In addition, diving is offered for a fee. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, squash and yoga. The resort offers a range of facilities in the wellness area. Options include a spa and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a spa, a beauty salon, massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments and cellulite treatment. Third-party operators offer a sauna, steam bath, hammam, beauty salon, massage treatments and cellulite treatment. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a bar, a pub and a lobby bar. Catering is provided by an air-conditioned, non-smoking buffet restaurant. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive is offered as a catering option. Among the advantages of an all-inclusive stay are various offers, including alcoholic beverages and international brands. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. A delicious and varied buffet is freshly prepared at breakfast and lunch, and a set menu can be ordered at dinner. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    We loved our stay here. We have been to several different hotels over various parts of Egypt and this has by far been our favourite. So much so we are already planning a return trip.The hotel itself is huge. We were a family of 14 and they did their very best to place us close to each other. We were between A and C blocks, and this was fab.Cleanliness was great. People were always cleaning and we were never short of water, towels or toilet roll.All the staff we encountered were super friendly.The people who come by the pool trying to sell stuff can be a bit pushy, so top tip - grab a red flag from where you get the beach towels, and pop it on your table or sun bed and you get left alone.The shop in the hotel is extortionate. So take a wander over to the Red Sea Bazar just over the road. Everything is half the price.Food was fab. Yes it’s typical all inclusive and gets a bit samey - particularly breakfast. But we always had a nice meal and were never hungry.The only slight criticism would be the management of the tables in the Grill. Everyone wants a window seat, so a couple will sit on a big long table of 8. Meaning that us as a larger group were often separated and couldn’t sit together. This does need looking at and a much better system needs to be in place to ensure that smaller groups do not use up the bigger tables. It did get annoying over our 11 nights.Other than that, everything else was perfect. Great location, great staff and great weather. Can’t wait to return.     Old is not Rustic

    I don't know about others but old everything does not equal rustic, take a look at the list below:Positives:- marvelous view of the sea- rustic feel across the property- very helpful staff- they checked me in very early- clean is very goodNegatives:- bathroom is old- bathroom amenities (no hand soap)- Limited electrical outlets (two and one is short circuited)- Food quality and variety is below average (if thats the case don't offer full board)- very long walking distances from rooms to main gate (many taxis refuse to enter)Neutral:- Location is good, but its a small city after all.
