Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a partial sea view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-size bed. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. There is also a safe and, for a fee, a minibar. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments, are offered for a fee. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

The dining area includes a lobby bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch (as a buffet) and dinner (a buffet, à la carte and a set menu) offer something for everyone. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, organic food, halal food, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks.     We have just returned from our vacation at jaz makadina first the good points,it is very clean and well kept the reception is small but beautifully decorated,the rooms are clean a little dated but everything you need,it is a very small hotel but nice not to walk to far in the heat.food is delicious and well cooked we always found something we liked,the beach is right at the hotel so real handy and it is spotless with a great pier to walk on.now the not so good,sunbeds are reserved very early people must get up at 2am but then not return until 9 or 10 all other hotels we have stayed in have solved this with simple signs or if your not there within times your things are removed,some staff need retrained mainly bar staff at the reception bar manners are free and a smile is nice ,some staff do the work of 3 people namely beach staff and pool staff.The hotel is definitely for older people as there isnt much after the evening entertainment finishes teenagers and young adults would be bored all in we had a ok vacation the marina is outstanding and we took a day trip to luxor which was incredible,we wouldn't return as we prefer something a bit more lively and to get a sunbed.     From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone — from reception to the bars — was attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. A special mention to the fantastic bartenders, always serving drinks with a smile and great energy — I’ve added pictures of them because they truly deserve recognition!The waiters around the beach and especially on the outside terrace were absolutely wonderful. Thank you for making yet another stay unforgettable.A massive shout out also goes to Head Chef Nageh, who constantly brought smiles to our faces with his charm and wit. The food was brilliant every single day, with an excellent variety and great care taken for my partner, who is coeliac.Another highlight was the entertainment team, who truly stepped up and brought the hotel to life. The variety of shows, activities, and interactions was amazing.     Lovely hotel, very good food and drinks. Snorkeling possible straight from the beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had a day of being unwell and managers and chefs all keen to help with special food etc. All the staff were good but a particular mention for George in the upstairs bar, Mosad in the main buffet and Tariq at the pool bar.
