Location

With catamaraning or, for a fee, windsurfing, kitesurfing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, sailing, snorkelling, diving and parasailing available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from.     Beautiful and great time in a hotel with soul

    I recently stayed at the Mercure Hurghada for 12 days, and I absolutely loved it. The hotel is located right on the beach, with a beautiful sandy shore and crystal clear water. You can walk straight into the Red Sea – no sharp rocks or sudden drops, so it’s perfect for swimming. There’s also a nice house reef just a short swim away, great for snorkeling. I saw so many colourful fish!The grounds are not huge, but they are very green and well maintained. It feels cosy and quiet, not like those big crowded resorts. The pool area is clean, with plenty of sunbeds, and the pool bar serves decent drinks.The staff were really friendly and helpful – from reception to housekeeping, everyone smiled and said hello. Special thanks to the whole animation team and especially for animator Ksusha, she is the best Master of Fitness and kind, frindly girl, my daughter spent all evenings with animation team! All animation were fun without being pushy. Evening entertainment was nice but low-key, just what I needed after a day in the sun.Food was good for a 4-star hotel. Breakfast had a lot of choices: eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, local pastries. Lunch and dinner offered variety – grilled meats, fish, salads, and Egyptian dishes like kofta and rice pudding were very tasty and fresh.The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well, and the bed was fine. Wi-Fi is best near the lobby and pool – a bit weak in the rooms, but that’s common in Egypt.Location is very convenient – only about 10 minutes from the airport, so no long transfer after the flight. There are also a few shops and cafes nearby if you want to step outside.Overall, Mercure Hurghada gave me a wonderful, stress-free holiday. Great value for money, lovely sea, and genuine hospitality. I would definitely come back again.Would recommend for: couples, solo travellers, and families with young children who want a calm beach getaway.     Not so big hotel, but a lot of green territory, comfortable rooms, wide beach with good sea enter. The quality of food is quite high.. a lot of activities and friendly stuff.
