    7th time in Sultan Bey. Again a very nice holiday. Great staff, great food and really good weather. We will come back next year.     Perfect place to have a holiday

    Any hotel is only as good as its staff and every single one of them during our 2 weeks were exceptional from the top down, so cannot just name one or two. From solving problems and helping us when needed, to arranging English speaking driver for Tuk Tuk, to making sure there was non alcoholic beer available, to helping us when we try to speak a bit of Egyptian Arabic . The hotel became our Egyptian home and felt like it, especially as we love cats. We loved our room, it was kept cool, clean, spacious with large bathroom and great towels and a great powerful shower with loads of hot water. Our bottled water was delivered to our door every morning. We overlooked the entertainment area, but it was never a problem as it finished at 10pm and was always quiet after that. The animation team were very engaging and welcoming but never pushy to join in if you didn’t want to which we liked. The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking one of the many lagoons, which we really enjoyed swimming in ( swim shoes needed as being older we found the steps a bit slippy.)We only went to the beach by boat once as we enjoyed the lagoon better. We got out and about in ElGouna on Tuk Tuks visiting the plaza, Turtle house and all 3 marinas. We were also treated as VIPs (they let us in for free) at a ElGouna football match at the stadium. The food is the best we have ever had in Egypt it was incredible, always plenty of choice, well cooked and well presented. And all the staff worked so hard moving furniture, serving and cooking for the weekly cocktail evening and BBQ evening. We have travelled widely in Egypt and stayed in many different hotels, for us the Sultan Bey represents an amazing holiday experience, one of the best we have stayed in and excellent value for money.     When you arrive through the main entrance it feels like you are in an Alladin movie. The whole setting is nicely build with stunning plant and trees around it. The personel is great and does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.     We had a fantastic 10 night stay at this amazing hotel. It is the best hotel we have stayed at in Egypt! Perfect location close to beach and downtown, attentive staff, gorgeous lagoon view room, fabulous food and drinks. We were particularly impressed by the management checking in on guest satisfaction regularly. The weekly cocktail and buffet evening was just amazing.
