    Our stay at El Masala Hotel was brilliant! We had a large, comfortable, and clean room with a balcony overlooking the Nile. Breakfast was delicious as were other meals we ate at the hotel. All of the men working at the hotel were extremely generous and friendly, going above and beyond for us which made our time in Luxor truly memorable. We will miss this place so much and are so sad to leave. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay!     Good value friendly hotel in great location.

    Great value hotel right on the Nile. The location is perfect with shops and restaurants nearby, boats to take you across to the East Bank right outside and 2 mins walk to the public ferry which takes you across to near the museum. Plenty of taxis outside the hotel if you need transport, the hotel can also organise trips if needed. We had a large clean room with big balcony overlooking the river (room 201), also a second big window overlooking the street. There is a lovely little swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. Plentiful breakfast of tea or coffee, fruit, cheese, bread, yoghurt and omelette. The food in the rooftop restaurant is very good and great value for lunch or dinner. The staff are all amazing. So welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Ahmed who let us keep our room for an hour longer after checkout time whilst we waited for our taxi. Every member of staff was equally friendly and helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.     We had a lovely 8 night break at the Mesala hotel. Ahmed the owners son was very helpful and informative. The breakfast was lovely and sitting upstairs on the roof terrace overlooking the Nile is exceptional. The location is brilliant for the ferry going to the east bank to visit luxor temple and Karnak. And it's easy to get to all the sites on the west bank. We got on a motor boat to the east bank for 50 LE per person and had a walk around ourselves. As we have been coming to Egypt for many years we have been to a lot of the sights in the past. But Ahmed can book you trips direct from the hotel as well as airport transfers. We had time to chill out round the pool and my husband did venture in the water twice even though it was a little chilly. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting luxor.     I was really impressed staying in this hotel. The staff were friendly helpful and above all professional . The room I had overlooked the Nile from the balcony and you could sit for hours watching the world go by. The restaurant at the top had panoramic views of the river along with an extensive menu and high quality food.     Stayed for a few nights with my cousin (Sara) Wonderful hotel and the staff were amazing! Dealt with everything we needed! 😘 Great location for sight seeing on the West Bank and short boat trip to east bank. The view over the Nile was fabulous! Can’t remember all your names but the chef cooked amazing food! The mixed grill was one off the best meals I,ve had would really recommend! The younger chef was also amazing! The restaurant staff were lovely! The front of desk staff were so helpful and very nice people! Would definitely stay again!
