    My wife and I highly recommend this hotel. Yes the view from the rooftop restaurant is stunning and the location very convenient next to Luxor temple. What is as good is the brilliant service and attention of the staff. In a challenging travel environment for independent tourists they help so much.The management is very professional and helped so much when we needed help buying train tickets and organising tours. Also the staff are very friendly and charming which makes you feel at home. The rooftop restaurant has great food and service to complement the amazing view.The rooms are very clean and decorated with an elegant Egyptian ambiance.You won’t find better value in LuxorIn addition, my wife forgot her glasses and they went out of their way to contact us and organised their return at our next destination. What great service! Thank you Ahmed and all your staff for a wonderful stay

    I love this hotel , the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping were amazing especially Tanatyw who folded those towels in to things was perfect. The food was beautiful upstairs the views made a perfect dinner accompaniment. And all the restaurant staff was 5 ⭐️. If someone said we’re going back I wouldn’t hesitate 😁. The refurbished room is nicer than the ones not yet done but either room is still good.Would be nice if the hot breakfast food was labelled but the pastry’s and breads are very nice. 😊

    Luxor, Nefertiti Hotel – Personal ExperienceI had my eye on the Nefertiti Hotel for a while because of its style and location, and finally, in February, I stayed there for three days. The rooftop restaurant offers a truly breathtaking panorama: on one side the Nile, on the other, Luxor Temple greets you in the morning sunlight. The charm of the street-level restaurant in front of the hotel comes from the fact that it’s practically on the street—it’s a wonderful atmosphere. The dishes are flavorful, and the presentation is authentic.The room was fully equipped with all the comforts, and the staff was genuinely kind and attentive. Sayed, the general manager, is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the restaurant team—from the chef to the waiters—was polite and helpful. Every day they asked for the best time to clean my room and surprised me with beautifully folded towels. They also made sure guests could enjoy their day in peace and discreetly dealt with anyone disturbing the stay.Meeting people you’re on the same wavelength with is always a special experience. The Nefertiti Hotel is that kind of place: not only is the setting beautiful, but the human connections make the stay truly memorable. 🩷🙂

    The staff at this hotel are absolutely wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. They deserve 5/5 stars. The hotel itself, however, did not meet the expectations. I am quite surprised at the high ratings it has on TA and on Booking.com. While the location is very central, this comes with a major downside: you're in the middle of the souk. For quite a few rooms, this means that you will hear a lot of street noises (including loud music) until late at night. It's therefore essential that you book a room away from the main street. Avoid Room 211 at all costs. This room was also musty and not properly cleaned. Fortunately, the receptionist was able to book me into a different room on the second night. This room was not cleaner, quieter, and more comfortable. Even then, however, the hotel has virtually no sound insulation, so sleeping with ear plugs is essential. I would avoid this hotel if you are a light sleeper. I found the selection for breakfast to be very poor, and not of a particularly high quality. Dinner was fine. The view from the rooftop restaurant is quite underwhelming.
