  The best resort in the world, extremely nice staff. Big thanks to Mohamed, who was very nice. The cuisine was excellent, the director is in the right place. I traveled with Blue Style. Nice view of the sea, I recommend the massages at Thajma Massage. Thanks for everything, Blue reef.

  The hotel is good, the reception is excellent, and the H.K is super. The beach bar, especially Mahmoud, is a wonderful person. Abdullah Qasim, from beach, is a wonderful and polite person, and I thank him very much for everything he did. The disaster lies in the restaurant. The food tastes terrible, and the service is extremely poor, almost nonexistent. I experienced a time discrepancy; we are in Egypt. If you want to follow Italian time, you can set your clock back, not forward. Also, on my last day, I went to the restaurant at 9:30 PM and asked for dinner, but I was told that the restaurant was closed, even though some guests were still there and the buffet hadn't been cleared.The restaurant service is zeroThe worst thing I've ever seen is when a hotel tells you that it's only for Europeans.   Disappointment at Blue Reef Resort: Unprofessional Staff Overshadowed All Positives

  We visited the Blue Reef Resort in Egypt with expectations aligned with a four-star standard. Unfortunately, the overall impression of the holiday was very mixed.Let’s start with the positives. We appreciated the attitude of the technicians and the manager – when our air conditioning broke down during the stay, they made efforts to repair it until late in the evening. The AC worked well for the first two days, but its performance significantly declined afterward and stopped working completely by the fourth day, which made it impossible to sleep comfortably. We then suggested a complimentary late check-out as a form of compensation – the manager willingly agreed to this, which we saw as a positive gesture.We were also pleasantly surprised by our housekeeper – he was always kind, helpful, and performed his duties with great care and a smile. The hotel grounds were clean, well-maintained, and compact – everything was conveniently close. The food was adequate, corresponding to the standard of a typical four-star hotel.Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the staff at the beach and pool bars. Their behavior was unpleasant, unhelpful, and every order was met with annoyed expressions or deliberate ignoring. Even a simple request, like five beers for a group, had to be repeatedly explained and “begged” for one by one. We even helped return empty cups to the bar, but this didn’t change the staff’s attitude. It was clear that without frequent tipping in dollars, the staff was unwilling to fulfill even basic requests – which is completely unacceptable under an all-inclusive service.To be fair, the drink-serving style – essentially self-service mixing, where guests pour their own juice or other mixers – is likely not the fault of individual staff but a systemic hotel policy. Still, such a setup is inappropriate and inadequate for a four-star resort.The animation program was also weak and unimpressive compared to other resorts in the same category. Sadly, we also encountered extremely inappropriate behavior from a member of the animation team, bordering on sexual harassment.The rooms themselves were outdated, doors banged in the wind, and as already mentioned, the air conditioning failed after a few days. Being unable to sleep due to the heat severely impacted our overall comfort during the stay.While the review may seem to highlight more positives – such as decent food, a clean facility, and a friendly housekeeper – the reality is that the negative experience with the bar staff completely outweighed any of the good. We left feeling disgusted, and instead of a relaxing holiday, we returned with an unpleasant experience.Although we used to enjoy visiting Egypt, this experience has made us question whether we want to return at all. If we do, Blue Reef Resort is a definite never again, and we absolutely do not recommend it to anyone. I rate it 2 out of 5 stars.

  Our snorkeling trip to Abu Dabbab was an unforgettable experience, truly living up to its reputation as a haven for marine life. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the turtles! We were absolutely mesmerized by these gentle giants as they gracefully glided through the clear waters.Beyond the incredible turtles, the coral reefs at Abu Dabbab are simply stunning. The vibrant colors and diverse marine life create an underwater wonderland that you could explore for hours. It’s a truly breathtaking sight.Our instructor, Mustafa, played a huge part in making our trip so enjoyable. He was incredibly helpful and caring, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and got the most out of the experience. He ensured everyone felt comfortable and safe in the water, providing excellent guidance throughout. His guidance made all the difference.We also owe a big thank you to Hasan for recommending this fantastic trip. His insights and the time he took to explain everything to us beforehand were invaluable and greatly appreciated.If you're looking for an incredible snorkeling adventure with the chance to see turtles and explore beautiful coral, we wholeheartedly recommend a trip to Abu Dabbab. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Abu Dabbab. It's a place that continues to draw me back with its stunning natural beauty.Blue Reef Resort - It genuinely feels like staying at home, with a wonderful atmosphere and an incredibly kind and attentive staff who made our stay comfortable and welcoming ❤️Tereza
