Location

This hotel is located on one of the most breathtaking shores of the South Red Sea in Egypt and is built into a tranquil natural setting inside the beautiful remote bay of Ras Al Asad. It is 115 km from Marsa Alam and approximately 60 km from Marsa Alam International Airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 312 rooms located in a 3-storey main building and several auxiliary buildings. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Services such as a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (for a fee). The resort offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. A projector is available for guests' business needs. A conference room is available for conferences, lectures and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the beach from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a queen-size bed. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Satellite television and WiFi (for a fee) are provided as well. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered a selection of towels. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. The resort has family rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

Whether in need of rest and relaxation or more activity, guests can swim a few lengths of one of the 3 outdoor pools, while children have a special swimming area just for them. Thrills on the waterslide, refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a soothing soak in the hot tub (for a fee) – the pool area has a little something for every state of mind and body. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes tennis, beach volleyball and volleyball. For a fee, guests can also enjoy paddle tennis and horse riding. Water sports available at the resort include water aerobics, and also, for an additional fee, diving. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and aerobics. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments, are offered for a fee. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a bar and a lobby bar. Great food and friendly service await guests in 3 air-conditioned restaurants. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. A generous and varied breakfast buffet (also for early birds and late risers) provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    This was the third time visiting Utopia Beach within three years and it keeps on getting better each time. Food: Buffets with varying mottos (German, Mexican, Asian, Egyptian) and weekly Egyptian Night. Very tasty! Staff: Everyone is always smiley and super polite. I greatly appreciate the fact the you come back every year and you keep seeing the same employees. Amazing to know they have safe jobs and are appreciated. Hotel Grounds:Always clean and the gardeners are always working on the beautiful gardens, wherever you go.Summary: I’ll be back next year!

    The life guard Mohamed from the pool is a good swimmer and he can take you for a good snorkel experiance . Eveyday he comes to you with a smile and he is very friendly. The food is good en you get coca cola. Big rooms and clean!The coral is beautifull Parasols and beds on the beach and poolVery friendly people who works Here

    The hotel had a lovely beach with snorkelling seeing so many different fishes and coral. We stayed in a group of 7 and they tried to accommodate us in same area. The beds were comfortable and slept well. Food was good with excellent breakfast and evening meal and you could have lunch at the beach which was all good. I had a pedicure with Hazem it’s was great and left my feet feeling pampered. The massage was good and at decent price. We took mostly dollars but it would have been better to have Euros. Lots of polish Italians and few Germans and Czech aswell as Egyptians made the place work. Also the animation team did make morning feel good with exercise in the pool both top and bottom. Only thing was the drainage in our room which was sorted quickly. I would say Five star service and friendly relaxing setting.
