Only heritage hotel in the area, Helnan Marina Sharm Hotel is nestled in the heart of Naama Bay, facing the unspoiled, sandy beaches of Sharm El Sheikh (one of the top holiday destinations worldwide). Situated to the south of the Sinai Peninsula, with more than 20 bays offering an eclectic mix of resorts and hotels that overlook the sparkling Red Sea, Sharm El Sheikh provides an appealing holiday destination filled with countless activities, making it the perfect vacation for its diverse visitors. The Old Market is 7 km from the hotel and Sharm El Sheikh International airport is 11 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 3 junior suites, 3 suites, apartments, studios, 30 single rooms and 234 double rooms located in a 5-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the resort include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The resort offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 2 indoor and outdoor pools. The freshwater pool area, which is in part heated, also has a children's pool. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For guests who wish to keep active, beach volleyball, volleyball and basketball are available. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving or, for a fee, sailing. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, handball. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Special meals, including vegetarian dishes, are also available. The complex also offers snacks. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

    Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing.The rooms are old, poorly maintained, and not clean. Many shelves and drawers were either stuck or broken, and the inside was too dirty to store personal belongings. The bathroom was outdated, with a very small sink that made even washing your hands uncomfortable. The safe was not working, and the balcony door did not close properly.Another major issue was the noise. The hotel is located in a very busy area with clubs nearby, and loud music could be heard until around 3 a.m. every night, making it difficult to sleep.The hotel also failed to provide basic amenities. We were initially told that slippers were not available, yet after additional requests and tips, they somehow managed to provide them.What disappointed us the most was the beach situation. The hotel advertises the beach as if it is exclusively for hotel guests, but this was not the case. Many outside visitors were allowed access, making the beach crowded and uncomfortable. Even worse, the entire first row of sunbeds was seemingly reserved every day for people who were not staying at the hotel. As paying guests, we found this completely unacceptable. It created the feeling that hotel guests were not a priority, and overall we did not feel comfortable or particularly safe.The only highlight of our stay was the animation team, especially Karim. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about the guests. They regularly checked on us, organized numerous entertainment activities, and did their best to make everyone's vacation more enjoyable.Overall, we would not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it based on our experience.     Second Amazing Stay — Perfect Beach and Wonderful Atmosphere at Marina Sharm Hotel

    This was our second time staying at Marina Sharm Hotel my husband and i and once again we loved everything about this hotel!The beach is amazing and one of the best things is that it is protected from the windy areas, so the water stays calm and perfect for swimming and relaxing. The sea is absolutely beautiful.The animation team is excellent and always does their best to keep a great atmosphere and make everyone enjoy their holiday. A special thanks to Karim, who was very friendly and helpful during our stay. I asked him for a small favor and he immediately helped me without hesitation. His kindness really made a difference.We had such a wonderful experience that we are already thinking about coming back in a few months with our big family. Highly recommended!     The place is amazing — there’s always something fun to do, and the atmosphere is very lively and enjoyable. The team and staff were all incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. Everyone made us feel comfortable and well taken care of.     Rest at the Marina Sharm hotel in Egypt left many pleasant impressions. I would like to especially note the receptionist Karim - a person who is truly a professional in his field.Karim is always friendly, attentive and ready to help in solving any questions or problems. He treats guests with respect, responds quickly to requests and creates an atmosphere of comfort.
