Guests have a choice of 584 rooms. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided to guests. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Rooms

The pool complex, which includes 3 outdoor pools and 2 children's pools is a great place to work out or just relax and unwind. Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis, bocce and beach volleyball are available. The resort offers various water sports, including water aerobics, or for additional fees, snorkelling and diving. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include darts and yoga. A spa and beauty salon are available in the wellness area. Meals

Dining facilities include a bar and a lobby bar. Delicious specialities await guests in 6 non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurants. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive special is offered as a catering option. A generous and varied breakfast buffet (also for early birds and late risers) provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Special meals, including halal food, are also available. The complex also offers snacks. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    This hotel is absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff for their outstanding work, kindness, and professionalism. The team does an amazing job and always makes guests feel welcome and comfortable.The food is incredibly delicious, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. The drinks are excellent, rich in flavor, and prepared perfectly.The entertainment program is fantastic! There is always something fun to do, and it is impossible to get bored.     Disappointing Experience

    I stayed at the resort from June 2 to June 7, 2026, and booked two Family Suites. I am writing this review because my experience was surprisingly disappointing, especially considering that I have stayed at several Steigenberger resorts across Egypt before, including Steigenberger Ras Soma and Steigenberger ALDAU, where my experiences were excellent.To be fair, there are some positives. The food quality was very good, the fresh juices were excellent, the swimming pools were spacious and clean, and the overall cleanliness of the resort was good.However, the negatives significantly outweighed the positives.The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and had a noticeable musty smell. The TV in the room was extremely small and outdated. The furniture felt old and in need of renovation, which is not what one would expect from a luxury resort.The balcony furniture was also disappointing. The chairs had metal backs and were uncomfortable to sit on for any extended period. Even more surprising was the room layout itself. Despite booking a Family Suite, there was virtually no comfortable seating area apart from the beds, with only a single chair available in the room. The overall furniture arrangement felt impractical and poorly designed, making the suite feel far less functional and luxurious than expected.The resort offers a good selection of fresh juices, but unfortunately the coffee quality throughout the resort was consistently poor. For a property positioned as a luxury resort, I expected a much better coffee experience. The coffee appeared to be made from low-quality beans and was disappointing across multiple outlets.The biggest disappointment, however, was the service and staff professionalism. Many employees seemed overly focused on obtaining tips rather than providing genuine hospitality. Service requests were frequently delayed, and in some cases never arrived at all. This happened multiple times during my stay. Golf car requests often went unanswered, and our luggage delivery took an unreasonably long time.Another unpleasant surprise was discovering that only bottled water was complimentary in the room. Any other beverages, including those inside the minibar, were charged extra despite having an All-Inclusive reservation. This felt misleading and far below the standards expected from a premium all-inclusive resort.I was also surprised to find staff members approaching guests throughout the resort trying to sell branded water bottles with the hotel logo. Such items are usually offered as souvenirs or guest gifts rather than being actively marketed to guests during their vacation.Upon arrival, the room lacked several basic amenities that are standard in many hotels, including dental kits, shaving kits, and bath sponges. Only soap and shampoo were provided.Additionally, the tennis court required an extra charge, which added to the overall impression that the hotel is trying to minimize costs wherever possible, even on services and amenities that many competing resorts include as part of the guest experience.Overall, my impression was that management is focused on cost-cutting while staff training and guest experience have not received the attention they deserve.As someone who has enjoyed several excellent Steigenberger properties in Egypt, I was genuinely shocked by the difference in quality at Steigenberger Alcazar. This was a disappointing and frustrating experience, and unfortunately, it is not a resort I would consider returning to unless significant improvements are made.What disappointed me the most is not any single issue mentioned above, but rather the overall feeling that the resort is trying to operate as a luxury property while continuously cutting costs in areas that directly affect the guest experience. This is something I have never experienced at other Steigenberger resorts in Egypt, which is why this stay was particularly frustrating and unexpected.

    Such a stunning hotel. Cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Our spacious room , nicely decorated and tastefully furnished overlooked the pools with a spacious balcony. The staff are all wonderful and welcoming. They work very hard. The life guards were kept busy in the middle pool during our stay . They jumped into action several times , very alert - good to see ! We enjoyed the food and felt there was a good variety and nice to have so many à la carte options on offer. Our only constructive criticism is that it would be nice if possible to see some more food options cooked freshly in front of you like some other hotels we have visited. Hama restaurant was very enjoyable. Mohamed in the main restaurant was extremely attentive each and every setting no matter what time of day remembering our drink preferences nothing seemed too much trouble . Another great asset to your team was Mohamed Mamdowh @Marha Bar , he went above and beyond to make sure all guests were happy, drinks were replenished automatically. Mohamed added that little extra customer service. He seemed very happy in his job and took time to chat briefly with many guests as if hosting his own party. He made every effort to ensure guests were content. An extremely relaxing week, thank you.     Wow wow wow best hotel we have ever been to.

    Me and my daughter have just got back from a weeks stay at this hotel and it was truly amazing from start to finish. Their hospitality is out of this world,always making sure we were ok,sunbeds never an issue at pool (thanx to the chief there) or beach,so much choice of food everyday,all day every day the staff work so hard making sure hotel is spotless and guests are happy. Big shout out to all the entertainment team working so hard especially Hamdy and Hassan who never failed to make us smile every day. And smiley Mohammed in the top bar keeping our drinks flowing. An amazing holiday that we will cherish forever.
