  Excellent location with basic accommodation

  Excellent location in a local Biarritz neighbourhood. Walking distance to La Plage Grande on one side and a short stroll to the St Charles area with plenty of bistros, boulangeries, and wine shops. We rented a room with twin beds and a sofa bed for 3 nights for 2 adults and 2 young children. In hindsight, I should have booked a larger apartment but it was adequate for the short stay. The bedroom was small - the door jammed against the bed when opening. The rooms was not per the images on the booking site - it did say that interiors differ per apartment but the one we received was a level below what was displayed online when booking. It set unrealistic expectations for us. The kitchenette area was well stocked with utensils but was very tight. For example, the cutlery tray was stored above the microwave. It lacked detergent, dishwasher tablets, kitchen paper etc. Rubbish from the room had to be disposed of by the guests in the public refuse containers on the street. Reception staff were very helpful with taxi booking and local recommendations. Checkin was not until after 5pm which seemed rather late. We made good use of the small pool during our stay with our kids visiting it daily. It was clean and quiet.   Great location, clean rooms. Equipped kitchen, calm and nice balcony with the pool view/ Great value for it's price/ The stuff is not always on the reception, so it's better not to forget the keys) Laundry service, bakery and supermarket just round the corner, 7 minutes by feet to the ocean/

  it is a basic lodgement, and basic means that, 4 walls and the minimum furniture necessary.they don't provide anything (no toiletery, no diswasher detergent, no bath soap, no toilete roll, no scouring pad, no coffee maker filters, 2 bath towels for 6 occupants, etc.well, there were 3 green beans in the freezer).obviously there were no free wifi.the apartment was really dark. one of the rooms did not have any window and the other was so small that it was not possible fully open the door as it hit the bed. the sofabed was really incomfortable.the apartHotel building has access from 2 streets, but take in mind that elevator floor numbers are different on both access and the alleys are a dark maze.the pool was out of order but the jaccuzzi was free of use. the hamman and the sauna could be used for 30 minutes / room.the only positive thing of this lodgement is its location. close to the center and public transport lines ( bus #14 to/from the airport, bus A1 or A2 to Bayona, etc ).definitively, will not come back to this aparthotel.

  There are some positives, which I'll come to later. But let's start with the negatives. No free WiFi. No bath soap. No toiletries at all. No dishwasher detergent. No liquid dish detergent. No paper towels. A 35-euro fee for "cleaning" when you check out, but you're supposed to carry out all your garbage to a place on the street. No charm in the apartment -- just two pictures, one in the bedroom, one in the living area. On the plus side, the location is reasonably good (although with almost no views of anything, other than other buildings). Our apartment was spacious, and there's lots of room for storage (shelves, cupboards and so on). Would we go back? Definitely not.

  Located in the heart of Biarritz, these apartments are ideally situated for the beech, shopping and restaurants. The local shops in St Charles area are convenient for self-catering offering bakeries, butchers and greengrocers. Our apartment was well equipped and the aircon was particularly useful. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Note that there is a charge to change towels and sheets even if your stay is longer than a week. Parking in Biarritz appears to be at a premium in peak season, so I would recommend booking a place in the underground car park.
