Location

Located in Anglet near Biarritz, this hotel features one of the most beautiful locations on the Basque Coast. With landscaped grounds, a lake, a forest and a golf course and just 300 m from the of the most beautiful beaches in the region, this place is truly magical. It is only 4 km from the centre of Biarritz and 10 km from the medieval city of Bayonne, a cultural and fete city. A bus to Biarritz and Bayonne stops around 100 m from the hotel, and the first tourist meeting point is 1.5 km away. The SNCF station (TGV) is in Biarritz, which is 6 km away, along with Biarritz airport.

Facility

    Disappointed by the lack of training and responsiveness of the team - Brunch very nice and pleasant moment -

    Brunch very pleasant- Rooms not as cozy as expected ( especially when the view is right above the parking lots ..) but the MOST unpleasant key point : some employees are completely ignorant about the services and not customer-ce truc meaning you have to ask 2 to 3 person to get the information right - Then : it’s not an adult only hotel , we were literally pushed to quit the indoor swimming pool bc of a kid ( and his parents ) was shouting, running , playing loudly in the pool - there’s an external pool and the indoor pool and spa is supposed to be a place to relax therefore quiet - after speaking with a spa employee ( Coralie ) to ask her to mention it to the parents , she didn’t care very much -and instead of taking actions she answer us “ please contact the front desk !!!” Personal / employee very young and obviously not trained for this kind of hotel and guests .     The negative review is only about the breakfast, very small choices, no vegetables, 1 choice of eggs(too soggy), fruit selection is good, no cow milk based fruity yoghurt only sheep, tea choices are nice

    Great location, right in front the golf first hole and the practice. Hotel ground and service was very good. It’s a shame the room are not to a higher standard for such a location. All was very clean and the bed was very confortable but it needs a refresher in term of the room and corridor. Best place if you want to be on the golf course

    Nothing short of excellent, far enough from the sea to not here the crashing waves, at the same time, close enough to walk comfortable.All staff are excellent, and helped make my visit a real pleasure. Highly recommended. Will certainly be visiting again soon.

    Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a business trip. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was also very quiet which makes for a better sleep. My room had views over the golf course so everything was nice a green when I looked out the window. If you are a golfer (which I am not) you have the course on the doorstep! It looks like an interesting course which seems to right around the hotel, as far as the beach and back!The beach is about a 5 minute walk away and is excellent for surfing with several surf schools and reasonably large waves!The food at the hotel was very good, though the selection was not huge, but it was the low season which might explain why.If you are after night-life then there is not a lot around, but if you want a quiet get away with the odd round of golf then it's a good place to come.
