Location

This family-friendly, city residence is located in the Meriadeck, business district, very close to the historical city centre. Guests will find restaurants, public transport links and shopping in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The Mérignac Aiport is some 12 km from the hotel.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 29 apartments and 132 studios, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a laundry service, a business centre, a fax machine, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm are available. Services include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and dishwasher. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

    The staff were ok and friendly, otherwise I cannot recommend that place at all. It is not worse the money to pay for a room. The floor in the room was definitely not clean we found in the refrigerator a very old piece of cheese, we also find an empty bottle of vodka behind the dusty spare bed sheet. The bed had only 1 night table as well as it had no plugs to switch the lights on and off from the bed.     Me and 6 other people stayed at this "hotel", in total we used 3 rooms. None of them had enough water pressure in the shower, which produced less water than the thinness of a drinking straw. Furthermore, the hotel does not provide face towels and does not provide enough towels per room (fewer towels than guests). We booked a room/apartment with 2 beds and what we got was a bed and a sofa bed that we had to figure out how to put together. The staff are super grumpy and don't really care about the guests' stay. We don't recommend ANYONE to stay here, it will just ruin your vacation.

    We were very happy with our stay at Appart'City Bordeaux. The rooms are basic, which is to be expected for the price, but they were clean and comfortable. It was helpful to have a small kitchenette - although the hob wasn't particularly effective at heating things up, the microwave and fridge came in very useful.The tram stop is just a few minutes walk away, and is a 10 minute tram ride from the centre of Bordeaux, so is quite convenient. There are also bars, restaurants, and mini-supermarkets just a 5 minute walk away.

    Absolute shocking hotel. Visited for the world Cup and I became severely unwell. Had an email from the hotel 5 days after our stay to say that legionella was found in the water in the hotel and someone had been hospitalised due to it.I was severely unwell from this. I also have a pre-existing condition which meant I could've turned life threatenly unwell if I had not returned home when I had.I have tried to contact the hotel since to raise a complaint and raise my concerns, however they have ignored my emails.Absolutely disgusted with this... do NOT stay here!

    Very basic hotel- cheap and cheerful. Could do with modernisation as very tired. Rooms were clean, staff were great but facilities let the place down. Shower could only go so low which wasn’t ideal given the 36c heat! Air con was pretty ineffective too but worked to a point. Was expensive for what it was due to the rugby World Cup so imagine you would get a much better rate outside of a big event. Good location, walkable to the main centre or a few stops on the tram . Public transport is exceptional in Bordeaux and the city is a magical place
