    we got a room in the back on the 2nd floor. getting there was awkward with a real danger to high people head's. room was clean - nice space on one side, but almost no space between the bed and the wall. strange entrance to the room room itself, only 2 towels. Restaurant is nice with a great breakfast and nice meals after. not far away from Tram C to the city and not far a way from a nice shopping mall.     Deceptively good

    First impressions is this place is like a motel from an American movie with roller shutters on the windows. However, room & bathroom were more than adequate, lovely and clean, crisp bed linen & towels. Air conditioning worked well too. The front desk staff (day and night) were very polite and helpful, and also spoke good English. The bar area is limited but we had good service regardless. The continental breakfast was generous for €11, with plenty of fresh coffee, fruit juices, fruit, meat & cheese, cereals and all kinds of breads and pastries. The 2 waitresses were super helpful and friendly as well. Location was great for main route access as well as the brilliant tram facility, which was €1.70 a journey into the centre of town. Would definitely stay here again.     ‘Next generation rooms’? Paid for but not given. No handle on bathroom door. Filthy kettle. Partying next room til 3.15am with a connecting door between me and the party people. No response from receptionist on checking out.

    Tired and tiresomely mosquito ridden

    First the good point: the water pressure in the shower is good (perhaps because of its proximity to le Lac).Now the rest: mosquitoes abound (undoubtedly because of its proximity to le Lac). And the rooms are tired. And noisy. And the restaurant isn’t particularly good value (over €20 for the cheapest bottle of blanc vin). So hard to recommend it unless a reasonably strong shower is your highest priority...
