    One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! The hotel is beautiful, in the middle of a vineyard. The room is gorgeous! Large, clean, and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the vineyard. The shower was excellent, and the bed was spectacular! The reception staff were extremely kind, polite, and helpful, assisting us with reservations at wineries and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was wonderful, as were the other facilities. The spa service was great, and the jacuzzi was also fantastic. I can't wait to return to the hotel to enjoy it again. We would like to thank you once again for your hospitality and help during our stay. All the reception staff, restaurant staff, housekeepers, the entire team made our stay unforgettable!     Wonderful, unique property; lovely stay

    My wife and I spent three nights at the chateau and enjoyed it very much. The location is great and very convenient to St. Emilion, and all that it has to offer, as well as to all of the local wineries and vineyards. We stayed on the second floor of the main building. The view of the surrounding vineyards was wonderful and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. The grounds and all of the public areas and facilities are immaculate and very well loved and tended to. We especially loved the art nouveau details of the main building and how well they are being maintained. Really a special feeling place. We also enjoyed the sauna, steam room and spa area. Last, everyone working at the chateau was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. All said, we had a fantastic, relaxing stay and will return if we're in the area.     Excellent!We had an amazing stay at Chateau Grand Barrail.Everything was pleasant, well taken care of and well attended to.From the moment we stepped in to a nicely fragrant lobby to the moment of our departure it was pure pleasure!the staff is very nice and accomodating.     I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the staff were pleasant enough, I was deeply disappointed with the room I was assigned.When booking, you expect a window to provide a sense of the destination, or at least some natural light.
