Location

This hotel is located just a few kilometres west of Bordeaux, near Bordeaux - Mérignac airport. The city centre is around 7 kn away, and there are shops as well as restaurants around 1.5 km away. The location is an ideal starting point to explore the sightseeing attractions, such as the Opéra National de Bordeaux, Bordeaux Cathedral (Saint-André) or the largest square in Europe (Place des Quinconces). The region also offers delicious wines, access to the sea, Cap Ferret and Arcachon with its beaches.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 50 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a conference room, a fax machine and a smoke alarm.     Quiet but pleasant

    A single night stay before driving further into wine country. First impressions were that the hotel is a little dated and has the feel of an 80's 'Days inn' or 'Travel lodge'. However, the welcome was friendly and accommodating, the rooms clean and comfortable, parking was plentiful, plus there were always sunbeds available at the private pool. We had a very pleasant stay and would happily visit again.

    A small, basic hotel to stop when you are traveling further than Bordeaux. Free parking, great wifi and friendly staff. Small rooms, but clean. The hotel information was all in French, which was not very handy, but staff spoke English. I would not stay longer than 2 nights due to the location (bit of a drive to the centre of Bordeaux)

    The hotel was exactly as we expected and the standards were typical of a hotel of this rating. However, the staff were some of the most helpful we have experienced. they communicated with us well, they offered helpful advise, they made recommendations for dinner and even translated the restaurant menu for us. They ordered us a taxi to take us to a local restaurant and even came onto the terrace to tell us it had arrived.     Excellent dog friendly stop over

    We are driving from northern france to portugal. We had a frustrating and stressful time in the vendee where there are very few functioning hotels and the one we found would not accept our charming dog. Arriving in Bordeaux we were delight to find this hotel. Although we arrived late the staff were very welcoming. They kept the kitchen open for us and while we enjoyed a tasty meal the receptionist entertained our dog. They put us in a comfortable room next to the side exit so it was easy to walk the dog any time.
