  This hotel is terrific for so many reasons: It’s just one tram stop away from the train station. And also direct transport to/from the airport. The F tram stops just a few steps away from the hotel entrance. The hotel staff are always present and helpful. The welcoming hotel lobby is open to the restaurant which offers a breakfast buffet. There’s also the option to order a coffee, a pizza or a drink if you don’t want to leave the premises in search of food.   We received a quiet room and a lovely welcome. Hotel is spotless including breakfast kitchen area. Boutique hotel which I prefer yet meets all needs. Staff was amazing and helpful at every turn in an authentic way. Truly enjoyed the experience.   A/C heat at 22 !

  Hotel Life Bordeaux Gare – BG is a beatiful hotel close to railway station, just 10 minutes walk.The team at the reception Aaron,Charlie and Raby are helped us about the environment,map etc.The room is quite small hence this was our choice and it’s named as “Coccoon” , diffucult to ; place of two luggages and movement of two people , but it was clean.Tram just in front of the Hotel , you can buy a ticket from the machine and easily follow your final destination stop in the tram screen .Now the problem; the room “temperature” , it was too bad , too cold.I’ve checked the A/C but they have fixed the heat at 22 degrees ,even if you change to 25 , within few seconds it comes back to 22, you can not increase it , this is purely cost cutting without considering the visitors comfort.We had a very bad night , at midnight it gets colder and colder because the whether out was cold.The next morning I directly went to reception , I asked kindly how to increase the heat, the answer was also quite “disappointment”, they informed me that this is “The Boss” decision and can not be increase above 22 degrees.Took additional blankets and tried to keep us warm for the next following 3 nights.

  Good city break hotel

  The hotel is located near a main tram stop on the outskirts of the city. You can get a direct tram on line F from the airport straight to the hotel, get off at Tauzia stop. Only 1.90€ per person for 90 minutes once validated tickets (bus or tram).The staff at this hotel were all very friendly, approachable and helpful giving some good suggestions on where to sightsee and the best way to get around the city. The room we had was adequate small in size with basic amenities, but for the price we paid very good value. The hotel was very clean, warm and inviting. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice, plentiful and a substantial time window. We have travelled to many places and this was one of the quietest hotels we have stayed in, no banging of doors, or shouting in the corridors and minimal noise from outside. We were even near the elevator and didn’t hear it or people using it. Room cleaned daily with towels replaced. To get into the main centre of Bordeaux it was an easy 20 to 30 minutes walk down the river. A big thank you to all the staff who are doing an excellent job and were very accommodating on arrival and departure as we were able to leave our bags and use the reception/facilities after check out.   When you just get it right in hospitality A++++

  Cannot fault this hotel after staying for 3 nights and will definitely be back! The staff are exceptional with regards to customer care, nothing is too much for them, caring, friendly team from start to finish. The standard of cleanliness was 10/10. Tram stop right outside the hotel which takes you into the town centre in about 10/15 minutes. Lovely, fresh breakfast each morning with great coffee machine. Very modern, cosy and quirky hotel, highly recommend.
