Great little hotel, staff friendly, rooms are functional and breakfast is really great servicing many organic products but still offering a large choice.

    Great location.

Lovely stay. Was there for 4 nights on 2nd floor with 2 rooms facing the bridge. Well equipped kitchen with amenities provided - small sachet of washing up liquid (was enough for our stay with us having breakfast in daily), dishwasher tablet, washing up sponge and cloth.Plenty of towels and toilet roll provided and sofa bed was set up for us. Air conditioning was very welcome during 40 degrees weather!Location was great with Tram B literally right outside. Cite du Vin 5mins walk away and CAP Sciences right in front. The lovely Chartrons is a few stops away on tram or walkable along the riverside. A very good sized Monoprix supermarket is right next door. 10mins to get to Quinconces, where the tourist office is located. We tried the food hall nearby. I probably didn't pick the right food but I was disappointed in quality of the Japanese food and the Tapas stall. Also there is no air con so it was rather unpleasant experience when you are not used to the heat.Negatives:- We were there Thurs - Mon and the only quiet night was Sunday. There is a nightclub/bar on the rooftop so you can hear music pumping out even from 2nd floor. If you want a room facing the bridge, note that you can often hear motorbikes roaring past at night too.- I wish the laundry facilities were cheaper. It is clearly listed on website as 6 Euros for washing and 4 Euros for drying but I would have thought they would provide this for free and guests just have to provide own washing tablets/powder.- Check in was not ready until 15.20 as they were still cleaning. In fairness, reception staff did apologise and offered kids a colouring book and if we wanted any drinks whilst waiting. I'd rather the room be cleaned properly but ideally room should have been ready by 3pm.

2 lovely weeks at this amazing hotel! Friends came for a few days, and they liked it, too. We had luck and were on the top floor, facing the bridge with the great light show at night. Tram just outside the door, 2 grocery stores steps away, the amazing Les Halles de Balacan food market 3 minutes away with oysters and wine always available. The tiny kitchen was amazingly well thought out and stocked. Pots, pans, glasses, plates, corkscrew, potato peeler. Nespresso and boil pot. Comfy couch, windows that opened, good shower with great hot water, quiet and great a/c. All this, with very nice staff. Oh, and rooftop bar, a separate establishment, but fun to go to and people watch. Where else can you go to the Austrian Consulate to use the elevator to the rooftop? Bordeaux was calm, friendly, full of good restaurants and wine, wine, wine. Pretty much an over the top stay!Would we come again? We are already planning it!

Lovely, spacious room. Juliet balcony, very quiet, AC, lovely shower/toilet, decent kitchenette, nice desk with ornaments, good wardrobe with safe. Nice bed, lots of pillows. Power outlets next to bed!!! Nice reading light. Reception was staffed when I came, friendly worker. Reception area is nice. Location is good, but the Bord'eaux shopping village - obviously check on a map if it's near where you want to be. The price was great. I love this place! I came here following an ibis budget in Paris which was much much worse so this is a breath of fresh air.

Good place to stay in Bordeaux

    rating02 Apr 2025

We stayed here for 3 nights. I thought that it was a good place to be based in Bordeaux, close to the Cité des Vins and a lovely walk along the river into central Bordeaux. Alternatively an easy walk in the other direction gets you to the Bassins des Lumières. The apartment was well sized and very comfortable with a small kitchenette and a large bathroom.Breakfast was good.I would stay here again.
