    Good enough hotel with structural defects

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was OK. Breakfast too. The hotel is quiet. When we entered the hotel, it smelled a little strange, as if the building had damp walls. But there was no smell in the rooms. The room we were first given could hardly have been any smaller. But we were lucky: the light didn't work, so they gave us another, slightly larger room. Overall, the room was good, but the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work. There were knocking noises from time to time, which probably came from the water pipes. After a night of heavy rain, small puddles formed on the floor for three days.     Nice hotel with familiar atmosphere very close to the highway and friendly employees. We had one night and the stuff was very willing to help in every topic.

    The hotel was tired weeds growing on the patio and in the middle of a business location on the outskirts of Bordeaux. Rooms small lacking in basics of drinks. When asked about food was told it started at 7 pm but had to wait whilst staff ate their own meal. Finally got food at 8 pm after other guest gave up and left the hotel all together. It is the worse hotel I have ever visited.

    Had an excellent overnight stay at The Originals City Hotel in Bordeaux. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, efficient and spoke very good English. Great value for money.

    An excellent hotel, great location just off the motorway. Plenty of carparking spaces, lovely room with all you require and they serve top quality food in their restaurant.
