    If you put the address of the hotel into your sat. nav. it wont find the hotel. Just put in Campanile Bourges and it will find it no problem. The location is not close to the centre of Bourges. Typical Campanile, comfortable and clean room with all the essential requirements. Plenty of free parking but don't forget that the restaurant isn't open in the evenings at the weekend.     Welcome was not the best, told immediately that we could not dine in the restaurant that night as there was no room and to go to the French quarter, beds are not very comfortable didn’t really get a good nights sleep. Breakfast for £10 each extra is minimal packaged cheese small amount of ham some toast pastries and cereals. I will not return. Past experience of campanile in Calais was good so this was disappointing.     We had not booked the restaurant so couldn’t eat dinner (pre booking is essential). The excellent hotel staff recommended the cafe across the road, which was great for the price. The staff at the hotel said we could enjoy some wine in the restaurant bar after our dinner even if food at the hotel was not possible. Really good service - they helped send my child’s baby blanket on to our holiday address, as we had left the blanket behind. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
