    Style Over Substance

    We were expecting to use our Netflix account, air con, swimming pool, and have hot food (sausages and scrambled egg) as part of the breakfast offering. None of the above were available. This compared with a regular Ibis in Soissons the previous night was very disappointing. Add in the noise transmission through the metal work supporting the roof and mezzanine bedroom and the strange layout of the breakfast bar (plates in a different room to the breakfast) we considered a 1 star rating. It was saved by a nice entrance lounge and pool table but we concluded that Ibis Style hotels definitely fall into the bracket of style over substance and won’t stay in one again.

    A regular favourite of ours to stay in half way down France on our way to the good bits in the South by motorbike. Been about 4-5 times now over last few years and it is always up to the same good standard. Friendly staff - who speak English, although I amused them trying to remember a French Nursery Rhyme! Food across the road in a Fish Place or Burger place. Sometimes only one open - depending on day/season but they both have a lot of options and the food is good.     Convenient location and very clean. Appreciated the pool in the hot weather. Staff were helpful and friendly.     Stop over on way south

    Convenient location to continue trip to south of France. Swimming pool lovely and very welcome after a long drive. You need to go out for dinner as nothing in hotel and it is well worth booking as local restaurant was fully booked with a long wait for tables. Breakfast is ok but not a lot of staff around to help- so things get out of stock etc but plenty of choice so not a huge issue. Family room was convenient but be aware may be sofa bed and blankets as opposed to the beds and duvets shown in image.     Well located pet friendly hotel with Parking

    Easy to find just off the A71 toll road, very clean, huge room and a large bathroom. Plenty of surface car parking outside, dogs accepted for a small fee. No restaurant on site only a breakfast room, but there are several restaurants within walking distance some of which offer discounts to Ibis guests and there was a wonderful patisserie that sold things to take out. Breakfast was disappointing, not much choice & the croissants were stale.
