  Excellent hotel

  Lovely clean and comfortable hotel. My husband was there for 4 weeks in October on a business trip. He says the room was perfect, the food excellent and the staff we very helpful. If he has a repeat trip, he will certainly book there again.

  dont be fooled by the name

  check in was easy however no food at before 8 pm which I found strange. I booked this hotel to relax and dine after a long day to be told no food when we arrived. I booked this as it wa called restaurant Kyriad. . After driving out to get food we were then told the bar was closed a couple of hours later. The hotel was ok, rooms clean enough and breakfast was fine

  Typical Campanile, you know what you are getting, basic furnishing, relatively comfortable and clean. This hotel is showing signs of age, cracking of the walls, damp in the bathroom ceiling, peeling wallpaper and paintwork. Parking is good. On a busy roundabout there is a degree of traffic noise, but with the window shut it wasn't too intrusive. We arrived to find the restaurant was shut, however, the manager recommended La Boucherie just 5 minutes walk away which proved excellent. Good value for one night if you book in advance.

  Friendly and welcoming staff, in a good location with typical Camponile comfort and a restaurant with efficient staff and great food. Easy to find just off the N151, far enough out of town to be quiet at night but close enough to all amenities.   This hotel is dilapidated, with old furniture and equipment. The outside is worn and needs to be repainted and generally freshened up. The rooms seriously need complete refurbishment. The floor covering, whilst clean, is decades old. As you lie in bed, you see that the ceiling is not smooth but cracked and lumpy and needs complete replacement. The cleaners do a good job but no amount of cleaning will change the fact that the accomodation block of the hotel needs a complete overhaul.When booking the hotel, we asked for a downstairs room because one of us has a mobility problem and finds stairs very difficult. We alsk booked a double room. On arrival, the desk clerk said that no downstairs rooms were available, which was surprising because we arrived at 3pm and ours was the only car in the car park. I inspected the room, on the first floor, to find that it was a single room into which a narrow temporary bed had been inserted. I returned to reception and said that we could not accept that room. The desk clerk then gave us a double room on the ground floor, exactly the type of room which he had said was not available only ten minutes before!To summarise, we have stayed at Campanile hotels many times for many years. This was easily the worst and we will probably never stay at a Campanile hotel again.
