    The modern building and excellent location are just two reasons to stay at this hotel while exploring Antibes and surroundings. The room with terrace was quite spacious with contemporary furniture and an adjoining bathroom of impressive size. However, the bed linens in the room were dirty on arrival and needed immediate replacement. The maid had already left, and "la femme" receptionist offered us a room downgrade (not upgrade) to earn clean bed linens. After we declined, the maid miraculously showed up and promptly changed the linens in front of us. At least now we know how the fresh bed linen at the french hotel shoul look like. The planter on the terrace had no plant, but was full of dirt and cigarette butts. The furniture on the terrace was rusty and falling apart. There were no English-language TV channels at all, and the Wi-Fi had to be reconnected every time we left the facility. The bottom landing of the spiral staircase leading to the rooftop bar was lined with empty bottles and looked extremely dirty and unkempt. The rooftop bar itself was abandoned and unpleasant. The front desk staff, with the exception of one person, was completely indifferent and inattentive. The breakfast area was very small, with a very limited selection of food for the price. The food was not replenished in a timely manner or at all. The tables were dirty and had to be asked to be cleared. The kitchen staff was extremely slow and apathetic.Overall a very disappointing and unpleasant experience!

    Let down by shockingingly bad breakfast

    I just could not believe the breakfast experience. Almost all the tables were left uncleaned from previous guests. There was nobody there to even ask. There was no clean cutlery, and I had to find a plate from a cupboard eventually. But the worst was the food! Everything that was meant to be hot was freezing cold. Cold scrambled eggs for example. I couldn't eat it. Very few other options. France - and there wasn't even a croissant! Ok I got there towards the end of the service, but sometimes people need to do that! And I had to pay extra for this breakfast, even though I barely had anything. On the plus side, the bed was comfy, and the room quite quiet.

    The hotel is located up a hill away from the town centre.The car park is tight to say the least ( especially with a suv).The grounds of the hotel could do with a bit of TLC especially the vegetable garden. The staff were great. The room itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was exceptional. There is a bar / restaurant on the roof giving a 360 degree view. This area could do with a bit of either varnish or new tables altogether. I kmow its the area but for what you get its a bit pricey.

    Air con doesn’t work and room smells

    Air con not working. Room extremely hot, not able to sleep. I asked at reception to fix it without action. Room smells like sewer drain, smells very strong as soon as you enter room. Would not recommend.

    Very clean and modern looking room, ventilation system works great and room feels very cosy. People at reception desk are amazing. Location wise, it is good, on top of a hill and walking distance to old town. Overall I like my stay at Best Western Antibes.
