    Appealing hygiene and attitude

    We arrived at the hotel after waiting a while for someone to greet us at reception we got to our room eventually and upon further inspection there was stains on the pillow cases and a multitude of hairs in the bed we complained and got offered a second room where the issue repeated itself and we found more hairs in another bed the response from the staff was to take the hair out the bed and throw it on the floor we were then told there was nothing else he could do so we left the premises and are awaiting our refund, the worse hotel I have ever been in in regards to hygiene and staff attitude we stayed at a lovely new hotel round the corner for the similar price which was just mind boggling how they could charge the same price 🤣

    Got trapped in the lift

    Was trapped in the hotel lift for 40 minutes. When I complained to the manager on duty, she did not want to even listen and was very dismissive about it. Basically said that it's not the hotel's problem if guests get trapped in the lift. Something to be aware of if you are claustrophobic or if you would have difficulty standing in a tiny lift for a longer period of time. She said she would refer my complaint to the general manager but have heard nothing back over a month on. I think an unreserved apology is the least a customer should get after experiencing something like this. Room was very noisy. It was connected to another room via a door which wasn't soundproofed so could hear all conversations in the adjoining room. The room itself was nice, the kitchenette was handy.     Great location and nice hotel, tidy and clean. Walking distance to the beach clubs and harbour. Pool facilities also warm and clean, would definitely stay here again.     A homely hotel that was close to the beach and other places in Cannes. The heated pools were great. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. It was easy to walk everywhere, for example the train station.
