    Trading on its great location and felt too corporate

    Pros - superb location overlooking a long beach, contemporary rooms with large bathroom and balcony, lovely restaurant terrace, large pool area. However ****park by the hotel reception door and after the first 6 hours it is 10 euros a day, not speaking French we did not realise this at the barrier when we arrived so quickly moved the car, plenty of free spaces in front of the hotel and it felt inappropriate for a hotel not in a city or town looking to protect its parking area. The restaurant was short staffed when a large group or conference were also dining, which happened the week we were there with forgotten wine order and a long wait to order food, the restaurant inside was completely soulless for evening meals if the temperature dips although fine for breakfast, large lobby areas feel corporate and vacant of any sort of use or purpose, pool bar only open at the weekend. We were given a room with a solid wall for the balcony not a glass one and very plastic hard chairs that were very uncomfortable to sit on - not as shown for the room on the website photos and we really should have asked to move, the hotel was quiet with plenty of unused rooms we could see so why we were given this room is a mystery as I suspect they are the least popular sea facing options. As a Radisson loyalty member it was bizarre to find you have one of the worst rooms for the category paid for. You also do not get free spa access without booking the correct room level so be aware.In conclusion we felt the hotel traded on its location a little too much but was a good base for the area.     Lovely views of the bay

    Enjoyed our time at the hotel, at the end of the season. The rooms overlooking the bay are great, with acceptable air-conditioning (seems that you can't fully control it in room, although there is a thermostat!) When the sun is shining then dining alfresco is great, although MUST be booked. Breakfast was adequate, is a little unimaginative, the coffee was lousy (from the machines). When the weather cooled then you realise that the hotel is a little lacking in character, so a perfectly good corporate feel. There are a couple of nearby restaurants that serve nice food, just outside the perimeter.     Great hotel, great location

    Great hotel, comfortable and very friendly staff. However, there seems to be a persistent shortage of staff, which results in sometimes long waiting times at the restaurant. Wonderful view of the swimming pool and the sea beyond from the terrace where breakfast and meals are served. The airconditioning in our room was blowing straight at the bed and turning it off was not an option as it was very hot. If I should name one great asset, it would be the friendliness if the staff, they were great, always smiling in spite of sometimes difficult circumstances and going out of their way to give you the best service.     Nice hotel bit not in Ajaccio city

    Please note hotel Its not in Ajaccio ! There is Nave Va who do day boat trips in the next town. Lovely hotel staff all friendly. Spacious rooms and a nice pool/gym and we parked opposite hotel free. Slightly less generous choice of foods for breakfast but ample.
