Location

Located in Chamonix and enjoying impressive views out over the Mont Blanc massif and the nearby glacier, this hotel offers the ideal location for those wishing to take advantage of the fabulous winter sports opportunities in the surrounding area. There are also plenty of shopping and entertainment venues in the near vicinity and the nearest ski lift is 500 m away whilst access to the cross-country ski trails is about 800 m from the hotel. A ski bus runs between the hotel and the ski lifts several times a day and transfer to Geneva Airport takes about 1 hour 20 minutes.

Facility

The hotel has 135 rooms, including 9 suites, 30 single rooms and 68 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing.     Very poor experience at the spa. It was overcrowded, and the sauna had a strong smell of sweat. The jacuzzis are extremely small.The same staff member who greets guests, hands out towels, and abruptly opens the door to count how many people are inside is also the one performing the massages. He seems stressed and is clearly suffering from a knee injury, yet the hotel cannot grant him sick leave. The spa manager mentioned that he needs to keep working to pay for his treatment.As clients, the result is a very stressful and uncomfortable environment.

    Gorgeous hotel, perfect location, amazing time in Chamonix!

    We just came back from the most amazing incredible trip!! The location is incredible, right at the top of Chamonix’s main strip of beautiful restaurants, bars and shops. You can simply cross the road and stroll through the town end to end, with so many gorgeous places to stop along the way.It’s also brilliantly placed for skiing. The main bus hub is right outside the hotel, making it so easy to get wherever you need to go, and the nursery slope and access towards Brévent are only about a five-minute walk away.The hotel itself is gorgeous. We didn’t even realise before arriving that it had a games room, which was such a lovely bonus. There’s also an amazing ski shop in the building (ground floor in the ski room), which made everything incredibly easy, plus lockers and a warm changing area with your own locker space such a amazing touch after a day on the slopes.The spa was beautiful and easy to book, and breakfast each morning was a real highlight the views were insane and the food was amazing.We went as a couple and it was just wonderful. We were there for three days as 1 very much a beginer and 1x intermediate skier, and still managed to ski four different locations: Le Planards, Les Tours, Brévent and Les Houches. We just absolutely loved it!!!!

    Hotel that can handle large group of skiers. Rooms were fairly large for Europe. Hotel has storage room for ski gear. Ski gear rental is also available at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner also included in our package.

    The hotel is in the perfect position, in the centre of town, and close to the slopes.Rooms were a little small, and there was noise from the bars across the road, but the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the balcony of Mont Blanc was excellent. Also, the radiators for warming and drying wet ski things was a nice touch.Breakfast was good - nice buffet, egg station, and delicious pastries.We hired our ski equipment from the ski shop - very convenient, though not cheap.
