  Good apartment overall for the price, would stay again

  Overall a good place to stay. A little out of the way but quiet, not far to the supermarket and slopes. You have to walk about 100m from the ski lockers, across a small carpark and up a little hill to access the slopes in the morning, skiing back almost to the door, if you are a decent skier, beginner ls would have to walk 100m back. The apartment was decent enough, traditional style and had most things you'd need. We had a 1 bed apartment, comfortable single beds and a comfy foldable double in the lounge. Big balcony, one toilet and another room with bath/ shower and sink. Pool was in another building, only about 30 seconds walk, good pool, 2 saunas and 2 stream rooms. Overall good place for the price. 15 mins walk to the main bit of town but good to stretch the legs. I would stay here again.   There is a charge for towels, some people get large ones, some people get small onesBed linen is included, but some people didn't get pillow cases in their bed linen package.The window in the bathroom is next to the bath and it's completely clear, so people outside can see you showering.The bath has no shower curtain, so the floor gets completely wet after each shower. You can use your tiny 7.50 EUR towels to dry the floor if you want.There are no cleaning products in the apartment, so you must buy all the necessary cleaning products if you want to avoid the 89 EUR cleaning charge.Reception is closed a lot of the time and the main office does not pick up the phone outside of office hours, so good luck if you need them for anything urgent.The oven has a microwave feature, but the plate does not spin.There are no shelves for the oven, so you can only cook one thing at a time.There is no wifi in the apartment, so you must have a good data plan on your phone.About the spa:One sauna door doesn't close, the other sauna isn't hot.Both saunas are dry, you cannot put water on the stones.   Perfect location, as good as it gets ski in ski out . Staff very helpful . Very good value. Pool and sauna are excellent. Prob could do with an update as the apartments are a little Tierd . Self catering really needs a freezer not just a fridge . Better oven . However , it good value warm and friendly .   I have never stayed anywhere quite like this place and not in a good way either! The place was filthy, the communal corridors were never cleaned once during our stay and the bed linen I received was all ripped! Our apartment communal area stunk of sewage very bad! The linen trolley and dirty linen was left in the corridor for 3 days!On our second to last day I asked reception if we could leave our baggage in the reception so we could ski on our last morning which was a Sunday. I was told by the receptionist that they shut the reception doors from 11:30am - 4pm on sundays and that the receptionist would speak to the manager and for me to come back the next morning about leaving the luggage in our room because nobody was checking in the day we left. I went back the next morning to speak to the manager and I have never come across someone so rude in all my life!! She said no straight away and said it would cost me 50 euros to keep the room on when all I wanted to do was keep our luggage inside the door! I was told to take my luggage to a luggage storage place near the slopes which wasn't an option for us as this would mean we would have to do several trips with all the luggage on the bus and come back for skis, boots etc. The manager was not accommodating in the slightest and gave me no options at all. She just didn't want to help and didn't care. All they want is your money ! I didn't see a problem as I had to clean the apartment myself and it was just to keep my luggage in the room for a couple of extra hours after checkout. We were going to be gone by 1pm!! In the end we kept the key and used the ski cupboard to store our stuff.I would never recommend this place! It was filthy, the staff were so unhelpful and all they want is your money! You have to even buy your own toilet roll!!!   Good stay, not ski in/ ski out

  The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. We never made it to the spa/swimming pool but our 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable. We went with Crystal ski so towels etc were provided and the beds made up on arrival.The location isn't great, a bit of a trek uphill to the supermarket and bars even further. Our biggest challenge was that is it not ski in/ski out. We stayed on block E. We had to walk uphill on icy roads to the carpark, through that which was icy, and then up a very very icy slope where everyone was skidding down and falling. I have some challenges mobility wise and found it exhausting. There is a way of walking further uphill which helps, but with skis and in ski boots, its not an easy route at all.Otherwise good value and if it was indeed easy access to the slopes, we'd stay again. We have implemented heated sidewalks to alleviate some of these issues, but we recognize that there is still room for improvement. Moreover, the snowy conditions can indeed make the paths slippery, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.Nonetheless, our location does offer access to the world's largest ski area, and we hope that the proximity to the 3 Vallées, with its 600 km of pistes, was a highlight of your visit.
