    Perfect base for a stay in Chamonix. This hotel is very clean. The hotel staff are all really friendly. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and lots of it. We had room 108 which is highly recommended for 3 or 4 people, next to the river with lots of room, a south facing balcony and view of mont blanc. The sauna was excellent. Can't fault this hotel. 5min walk from the train station which is much preferable to the ski bus, ask the hotel for the free red cards for free train travel to the slopes. We will be back.

    We used this hotel twice in connection with our TMB hike. The hotel is located close to the center of Chamonix (great restaurant just next door) and close to the bus station. The rooms were clean and nice, breakfast was very delicious (especially the local yogurts). The pool is very small - no room for swimming. We got value for money.

    Hotel Les Gourmets is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Chamonix. The location couldn’t be better - it’s a 2 minute walk to the main square but it was also super quiet, both in the day and at night time. Our room on the 4th floor had fantastic views across the rooftops to the mountains beyond. The room was modern, spacious and tastefully decorated with a large, comfy double bed and a huge bathroom with a bath and shower (loads of hot water), towel radiator, hairdryer, soap and shampoo etc. In the room there is a kettle and a fridge - great for us tea loving Brits! The ski/boot room spacious and warm with boot dryers. Baggage can be stored if you arrive early or depart late. Staff are super friendly and all with excellent English. This hotel was such a great find and we highly recommend it. See you again soon!

    Poor experience- we were given a suite for several friends. Room was tired. Bathroom had a shower in the bath but no shower curtain so soaked the room. Tiny towels and the Toilet was a dungeon with no way to air it. 4 blokes using one Khazi in the morning! Oh joy! Breakfast was a joke as lots of things ran out, no cups, fruit salad, eggs, bacon etc etc and hotel attitude was that’s it! So unless first come tough luck! Bar ran out of certain drinks too!
