  Perfect post Christmas Ski break

  We stayed 26-30 Dec. Arrived 1pm on first day and checked into and access to room straight away. The hotel was clean and comfortable and perfectly situated for the slopes. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was simple, croissants, baguettes, cereals, cheeses, yoghurts and jams but plentiful.   A lovely hotel, warm and welcoming staff. Private parking available with protected spaces for motorbikes. Family rooms available, with 2 double beds, TVs and WiFi. Bathrooms are great, bedroom has a balcony for plenty of freshly air and views of Briançon. Easy walking distance to a supermarket, boulangerie and old town.   It's in the centre of town, has It's own small car park in a courtyard at the back( just follow the sign!) The owner is very nice and helpful and speaks English. My room was lovely and modern, great bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast available from 7am. Nice places to eat a short walk away.Would stay again.   Funny and friendly one-man show

  We suspect there were some staff present at breakfast (very simple, even by French standards), but other than that this place was run by one man, the proprietor, who kept himself very busy managing both the reception and the adjacent parking lot. The latter was easy enough to access, but very small. So René, as we came to call him, had a busy time making sure everyone put their vehicles in excatly the right spot. When that was taken care of, he retreated to the reception desk, and started to hand out keys. That took forever, as he had to leave his post every time someone else pulled in to the parking lot. From the time we arrived, it took nearly an hour before we were settled in our rooms. A party of German motorcyclists who arrived at the same time as us basically gave up, and started to undress and enjoy their cold beers right there in the reception. Good move. Despite all this, we wouldn't mind coming back. The rooms were nice, the prices okay, and the location very central.   Highly recommended, good facilities and people.

  We really enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. The room had a lovely view of the mountains, very comfortable beds, and a newly redone en-suite shower room. Breakfast was great, a variety to suit all tastes, in a very pleasant atmosphere. The reception team was welcoming and helpful despite us being two rather shabby looking hikers. We found the whole hotel to be very well run, and excellent value. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants plus shady parks and a supermarket are all close by.
