    We had a very enjoyable stay at Le Grand Aigle Hotel. The staff were welcoming, spoke good English, and were happy to help us improve our limited French! The room was clean and of a good size, with good views towards the slopes. The breakfasts and half-board dinners in the restaurant were good, although slightly limited with no choice of starters or desserts for dinner and only two choices for the main; nonetheless, the food was very tasty and we didn't feel the need to switch to the a la carte menu. The boot room had individual lockers for each room, and it was wonderful to have the skis and boots delivered from the hire shop recommended by the hotel. The piste down to the lift was easily accessible, with a short walk across the car park. The hotel was located near the old part of the town, which we enjoyed, and it was a short walk down the hill to the newer part.
