Very good location. Ski in/out. Friendly staff. Don’t expect something big, new or fancy. Nice bakery next door.

Horrible place to stay dirty horribly designed, staff were horrible and rude and added a load of charges to our stay when we got there, looked cheap but really was a horrible stay

Disappointing Experience – WiFi is advertised but unusable

    rating03 Jan 2026

We booked this apartment specifically because it advertised WiFi, as both my wife and I needed to work during our stay. Unfortunately, the service was non-existent. While the staff were polite and offered to reboot the router, it was clear that the hardware simply isn't configured to handle the volume of guests or devices in the building (I work in IT and understand this stuff).Because the connection never worked, we were forced to travel to the local Tourist Information center every single day just to get our work done. This took a massive toll on our holiday and was incredibly unfair to our 5-year-old daughter, who had to spend her vacation time waiting for us to finish work in a public office.Advice to the owners: If you advertise WiFi as a key facility, ensure it actually works. Be very clear about the limitations of your system so guests don't rely on it for essential tasks.

This accomodation was a great place for my solo trip to Tignes, it was right on the slopes with a chairlift within 30 meters of the front door, as for the room, it had everything that was needed and was fully functional and comfortable.

Great value for money in Tignes!

I had a very positive experience at Vacancéole - Le Borsat IV. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were polite and helpful — they explained where to find the ski lifts, shops, tobacco stores, and bars. Other hotel staff were also friendly and responsible. The location is perfect — just a few steps from the TUF lift, accessible through the ski locker room. From there, you can ski down to other lifts (Bollin, Tichot) and take the funicular to Grande Motte. The balcony of my apartment had a beautiful view of Val Claret, the TUF lift, and the Avant Garde bar.The apartment itself was well-equipped: a kitchen with all the necessary dishes and appliances — coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and a four-burner stove. There’s a separate toilet and bathroom, which includes a full bathtub — great for relaxing after skiing — a towel dryer, and a large mirror. There’s also another big mirror in the main room. There’s a large wardrobe and sleeping arrangements for up to 4 people. Since I was staying alone, I could choose the most comfortable pillow — there were 4 sets of pillows and duvets. And finally — the price! I stayed for 4 nights during the end of the season (April 29 to May 3), and it was very affordable. Highly recommend!
