Excellent service, clean, comfortable, close to ski lifts

    rating22 Dec 2023

Fantastic experience. Apartment was clean, good views from the terrace and close to Bruyères 1 lift. Service from the staff was excellent, especially Vicky who was always willing to help and support.

Great, well-maintained apartment for a family of 4 with everything you need.

    rating05 Apr 2023

Clean, well-equipped, spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, ideal for our family of 4. Communal pool and lounge with pool table all very good. We didn’t manage to get any English TV and the beds were quiet uncomfortable sadly as skiing isn’t easy on the body. Apartments were advertised as ski in and out but this was impossible at this time of year.

I would not stay here again.

Stayed: 3 bed chalet with a pull-out single bed in the lounge. One double bed and two twins put together in the other bedrooms. Stayed with another family totalling 7 with 3 children; 2 adults & 2 kids and 2 adults & 1 kid. Good things:- it is very affordable for families looking to ski on a budget as part of a package tour- The chalet has items to use such as a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker, pans and cutlery and crockery- The views from the chalet are beautiful, especially standing on the balcony- It has a swimming pool and spa area- There are individual ski lockers per chalet- There is a lift in the chalet- It is possible to order croissants, bagels and sandwiches the day before and have them delivered at the door each morning- The buses are free- The sauna and steam room are nice for adults. Not so good things:- it is small and the rooms are a little tight- It’s moderately clean. The linen was stained but dry. The towels provided were small; one bath towel and one hand towel each. - The radiator in our room was non-functional however a plug in radiator was provided as a replacement straight away. This was good but took up more room!- We had to complete an inventory ourselves grading the state of the rooms and appliances. They wanted then to arrange their own inventory check whilst we were in prior to departure. - Check out for us was at 09:40am (the latest possible).- For families with children attending ski school: it is far away from the Prosneige ski school. A good 45min trip without ski boots. The journey involved walking down a few steps to a narrow two-flight spiral staircase that was hazardously icy. You could walk down and around the car park slope as an alternative, a 5min walk. Then along a short road to a footbridge, a lift from level 9 down to level 1 to the Bruyeres gondola. This doesn’t start till 9am so skiing to ski school isn’t possible as that starts at 08:55am. Then it’s a 15min walk along the boardwalk or snow to the shops, down another icy but gentle staircase (or slope) to the bus stop (Line B). A 10min bus journey (they are every 20min if on time) to La Croisette. Then a walk to lifts in a mall, through the mall to the snow front where ski school is. Stay in La Croisette if you don’t want to do this journey every morning. - The pool is unpleasantly cold - The staff were vaguely helpful but sometimes not much at all- The chalet was claimed to be “ski in ski out” but the ski route to the chalet was a black run, this meant that beginners or even intermediates could not ski to the chalet and the people who could ski to the chalet would have to be advanced skiers. This was not made clear

Good location but unfriendly staff, inconvenient and difficult to access by public transport

Unhelpful/rude staff, apartment not cleaned when checked in; Decent apartment in a good ski location but only convenient if you have your own transport - bus service only on Saturdays that too not confirmed!

    Horrorholiday

    rating15 Jan 2020

Horror hotel,We stayed in this place during Christmas 2019. At Christmas night, me, my wife and 4 children have been robbed in our apartment while asleep. Luckily they only stole my phone, my money, my car, my camera and some clothes. These criminals could easily have done horrible things to my family and if this had happend, I wouldn’t have had a chance because we were asleep. The hotel has no security system at all, except for a camera in the central hallway. Everybody, guests and also people with faul intentions, have 24/7 unrestricted acces to the apartment building. By the way, after this horrible event the general manager told me, this was not the first time someone was robbed. The only positive thing I can mention is the receptionist who helped me out at the police station as an interpretor. The hotel never asked us how we were doing, neither did we receive any form of an excuse. They also never reacted on my e-mail to inform them about of how I felt about the whole situation. So I certainly do not recommend this place to anyone who thinks personal safety and caring about guests is important. For people who are interested, we managed to get home safely. But we are still busy setling the damage.
