The hotel has an exceptional location with a view of the old town or the Massif du Prorel. It is located in the centre of Briançon and 300 m from the Prorel cable car that provides fast access to the Grand Serre Chevalier ski slopes. It is 100 km away from Gap and Turin and is close to the shops.

Facility

4 junior suites and 56 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services and facilities include a safe, room service, a conference room, a business centre and a projector. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, fishing and horse riding are available. The water sports offered include canoeing. The hotel's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Ski passes are available locally. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include bowling and squash. A spa and a sauna are available in the wellness area. A casino offers fun and entertainment.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including 25 restaurants, a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte.

Amazing staff and facilities

We took 32 school children, we were worried about taking school children to the hotel where they might disturb other guests but we needn’t of worried. The staff were so kind, accommodating and caring, putting us and the children at ease. Nothing was too much trouble, we had an amazing stay. The children loved it so much they were begging us to take them back to the hotel next year. The food was amazing, service great and restaurant staff attentive. The hotel was clean and of a high standard. We would definitely love to go back. Thank you Le Parc & Spa.

Such a good stay. The hotel is ideal for families and the room setup is great. The staff are very helpful and the location of the hotel is very good for skiing, being just a five minute walk to the slopes. The food is great, there is an option to take food away for lunch up the slopes too. There is a nice pool and a lounge room to play games in and relax. I would recommend staying here and the all inclusive option is great value. Room for improvement- rooms are small and poorly designed. Beds tiny - bedding cheap and nasty.Rooms are not cleaned properly- if at all. Food and restaurant staff great.Bar is a tiny thoroughfare- there are no relaxation areas.Don’t be fooled by Spa and pool area - it is tiny.Town is bleak and uninviting - there are nicer places to stay along the valley.Ski area is good Sowell Parc Hôtel Briançon, General Manager at SOWELL Hotels Le Parc & Spa, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay with us. We have just returned from a weeks holiday.and throughly enjoyed our stay. Great location just 5 mins from the porel liftThe hotel is clean and well equipped.
