    You get what you pay for

    Previous mentions of parking worries - news to me. I drove there from England in my (much valued) BMW, parked outside. No problems at all. I needed a basic room for a few nights. Because of Covid rules, the room couldn't be cleaned so I kept it tidy. Like this is a problem? Breakfast in a carrier bag was nothing special but adequate. Other meals taken up in the Vercors, or evening meal in the room: food bought just down the road at Lidl. Not my first B%B hotel and it won't be my last.     A run-down hotel in a run-down part of Grenoble

    The staff was friendly and the paid underground parking convenient. Those are the few positives of this B&B Hotel.The rest of the hotel has seen better days. The room was functional but that's about it.     Good value hotel, excellent garage and a good night's sleep

    Comfortable and great value for money. What made this special was the help the manager gave us when we had a problem with our motorcycle. Samir rang the local Triumph dealer, arranged to have a new tyre fitter later that day, brilliant!!. What could have been a nightmare was avoided by a caring approach. The staff as in all hotels can make or break them. I have met staff in hotels who by their attitude show they could not care less. This hotel was refreshingly different and along with the Opera Garden Hotel in Budapest were are the two best hotels we have stayed in in 8 weeks of travelling around Europe.     reception staff excellent, great girl and helpful.if you value your car please pay e5 for underground private parking.rooms basic but clean ok for one night stay on travelling.shop/bar closes at 8 so no where to get food near but sent out for pizza but waited one hour for delivery , Réception at B&B HOTEL Grenoble Centre Verlaine, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.     Functional and cheap

    Room (303) was reasonable size with separate bed area. But hotel is tired and certainly not very convenient for Grenoble town centre. Not bad if you need to drive out to the Meylan industrial area.
