    The worst experience in over 40 years!

    The stewardship of this establishment is irresponsible. On the date of my reservation, confirmed without reservation, the hotel was closed: deserted parking, no lighting, closed door. Calling the phone number on the door, I was told I left a message in the afternoon to explain how to enter the hotel ... through the emergency exit, or I could have stayed ... alone.I left the premises after requesting reimbursement.     We had a thoroughly enjoyable 5 day stay at Hotel Murtel. Without exception all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and of adequate size. The restaurent was spacious and inviting, the menu extensive and the quality of the food was excellant. It would be difficult to find fault with this hotel.

    Hotel *** classified Gite de France. Spent 3 nights there.Perfect room, comfortable, very clean and spacious.Bathroom in perfect condition (with hairdryer).Good soundproofing and respect for sleeping people by the room staff.Hotel staff attentive.     Very well equipped for PMRs, ideally located, with free parking and easy access.Spacious and well soundproofed room. Hearty and varied breakfast. Good quality catering.
