    Dirty, shabby. Avoid

    rating28 Dec 2025

We booked two rooms here as a stop gap between two trips. One room for us and one for our kids. We were disappointed immediately. The bathrooms were dirty- with hairs on the loo seat and not flushed - and a dirty shower with mouldy grout. See pictures. My daughter had stained sheets and when she rearranged her bed there were dead insects tucked down the side. One room smelled heavily of lynx and the other of vinegar. Shabby net curtains and curtain falling off pole. Just sloppy. The overall impression was of a student flat or a motel. I just cannot believe how they can call this a 3 star.

No Air Conditioning & Uncomfortable Beds!

    rating14 Aug 2025

I'll start on the only positives of our stay - the check-in staff were very welcoming, and the view from the balcony was stunning. This hotel could be amazing if it was upgraded. We were told upon check in that there is no Air Conditioning, despite it being advertised, nor were there any fans left for use. The cutlery, delf, and glasswear in the kitchenette were filthy. The double bed and bunk beds in the family room need to be replaced. Very uncomfortable mattresses. The shower had mold on the tiles. Nice staff, but a possible health hazard?

    rating08 Jul 2023

The staff is nice and helpful and were primpt to deal with the minor issues we had eith the apartment. They are the the reason for the second point i.e. without them it would have been only 1 star. The hotel is outdated. It should be renovated, thoroughly. For me, the most concerning issues are the possible health hazards. I have allergies and luckily it was summer so we were able to sleep Windows etc open, because the carpets are decades old and even my not-so-sensitive partner got some symptoms. I was taking my allergy and astma meds to the max. Another health concern is the tap water. I filled a bottle with it and when I opened it a day later, it had a really weird and vad smell and side taste. Unfortunately, I had had a small glass of tap water earlier and my stomach went havoc the following night.I've lived in France and travelled around the country for months and not used to be wary of the tap water in the kitchen unless there is a sign warning not to drink it. The outdated and way too old carpets and the risk related to the tap water make this hotel the worst I've ever stayed in in France. These are not the fault of the staff, but the owners who should renovate the place and updaye it to meet the standards of today.

French Holiday worst hotel so far

    rating25 May 2022

Nice new bathroom but stained shower cubicle and strong smell of sewage! Carpet from the late 70s and badly stained aircon and heater controls don’t work, confirmed by staff with a shrug. Place appears empty, not bad value and good location. You have to drive through a supermarket car park to access whichis oddBetter hotels out there. Avoid
