  How is this place a 4 star rated hotel. The company I work for booked this thru the state theatre. I found myself in a room without windows, very depressing on the 4th floor, wanted to change and Anoushka, the white front desk lady forcefully and patronizingly was told not possible. Then told I needed permission from the theatre to make this happen. So I had to call different people to allow "mommy" to do as I asked...and it finally happened. A lot of wasted. Then the mediocre breakfast stops at 9h30. we 15 people work until 23h. at 9h20 they close the doors and I was trying to get a coffee and I was treated as if I was a prisoner. This is a 4 star hotel. NOOO WAY. treated like a prisoner! I travel for work and in over 30 years I have never had such a strict and aggressive behaviour to guests. I finally just went onside while Anoushka continued to yell at me as if I was her infant child. Please Change the front desk staff. Breeder fascist people should Get jobs where customer service is not part of their responsibilites like in the military. Idont know who was paid and obvious a lot of money to give this establishment 4 stars. I would never recommend this place and in fact am trying to convince the theatre that this establishment does not deserve the business.

  A good and comfortable place for a short stay in Grenoble

  The Residhome Appart Hotel at the “Caserne de Bonne” in Grenoble was one of my classics in the pre-COVID era, and I came back to it recently in the context of a business trip to Grenoble. I was very happy to see that the excellent service, rooms and facilities are still in order. Obviously, we should not forget the amazing location of this hotel, right in the centre of Grenoble (with thus a bunch of shops and restaurants around). I therefore recommend it to anyone interested in a short visit to Grenoble.The room was very nice and clean, and large enough so that I could also work from it and prepare some refreshments in the kitchen space. My room only had a ceiling window, but I was not there for the view so that it was totally fine with me (although this may incommode some). Very importantly, the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. In my reservation, breakfast was included, and I must say that it is a bit better when compared with other hotels of the same category in the Rhone-Alpes region (all basics are there, including in particular a great selection of cheese). Finally, the personnel of the hotel are friendly and always helpful.

  I have never given a bad review before but there's always a first. I am booked into this hotel by my company but am finding it very disagreeable. On arrival a woman thrust paperwork in my face and insisted I had cancelled my booking. I said I had just arrived in the country and had done no such thing. She was incredibly aggressive. In the end I paid myself to access the room and it later turned out it had been a software glitch but I got no apology. When I complained about how aggressive she had been I was told she had said I was aggressive! The room it appears will not get cleaned while I am here for four nights. The room only has a window in the ceiling. When I asked for an iron I was handed the iron and the ironing board to take up to my fourth floor room myself. Yesterday I witnessed someone asking why their apartment had not had its weekly clean, and a receptionist first tried to insist that it must have happened already or they must have put the 'do not disturb' sign on their door. The man was quietly insistent that this hadn't been the case, and then he had to practically beg for more shower gel. I will be moving hotel as soon as this booking is finished. On the plus side this hotel is well situated and close to everything you need. However it may as well be a massive AirBNB.

  I have no words to express how happy and satisfied I am with this hotel.We booked through booking.com half hour before arrival. Something went wrong, because when we arrived, they still didn’t have our booking, but that didn’t stop them from helping us.They gave us an even better room than the one we had booked, because it was late and they noticed that we were tired, and asked us to come in the morning to talk to them.Great room, amazing bed and pillows.Morning arrived, we went to talk to them and they said that everything was ok, and we didn’t have to pay for the upgrade.We are very grateful and highly recommend this hotel.

  For star hotel with Airbnb conditions

  The plus for this hotel are :Is near center of the city, you have near a lot of stores, restaurant and a beautiful relaxing Park.The room that we had was very nice, big and comfortable.The minus:Even that the reservation was for 2 person, all the things on the room (towel, toilet paper, slippers, shampoo) where for 1 person.The breakfast that we have payed for, was very simple as choice.The fitness room is just a little place very poorly equipped.And the worst fact is that we found out that the cleaning is made once at 5 days!!!!!!! The towel change and the refill of the shampoo and toilet paper is made only when they are making the cleaning!!!!!!So if you remain without, you can go an ask at the reception, where they are telling you, that could make an exception and give you some before the cleaning day!!!!!!!I mean we are talking about a 4 star hotel not an Airbnb....I am very disappointed and I will look for another place the next time.Oh and they don't have a parking so you have to park somewere near, where the card payment is not accepted all the time so better have cash with you.
